This is a molex controller to a sata controller. Later on, this implies molex is to sata, but then it turns out that sata is to molex. This is a really deceptive product and it is of poor quality.
As shown in the last photo on the product page, these Molex to SATA cables work and are of decent quality, but they do not have a retaining latch. Consequently, they can be accidentally pulled out from the disk they are attached to just as easily as they could be connected to it. I chose these over some other models on Amazon due to the latch. This is something I have experienced several times in the past.
If you want a female Molex connector, make sure you have one. I think these cables are quite nice and they were delivered quickly. If you want a female Molex connector, make sure you have one. In my case, I needed to power an SSD directly from the molex power connector on my Mini ITX motherboard. However, what I really needed were MALE molex connectors since the motherboard used female molex power connectors. Thanks to an adapter I already had, I converted my female Molex connector to a male one, which was no problem at all.
I had this set of cables delivered, and after I attached a USB-powered computer the connection worked well I gave the C Hub additional power to enable my Logitech Streamcam to run at a higher frame rate, which helped it perform better. do really like the design because it's not only strong but has a solid construction that hasn't caused me any problems in the past few weeks. It is highly recommended that you get this pack of cables if you need to convert from SATA power to Molex on your The purchase was well worth it.
Showed up on time and worked without any issues. I only had a problem with the pins not aligning very well, so I had to fiddle with it.
Luckily, in my situation, it's on the hidden side of my case, since the ketchup and mustard cables are kind of wavy, but hey, it works just fine and I got three for not too much money.
All OEM power supply cables were in good condition, but the spacing of the connectors prevented the connection of all drives in the middle of the system PC case that sits on a tower. By using the adapters, molex connectors that were not being used could now be used and more cable length could be achieved. We did our best to meet the requirements.
I'm sure it's a very nice cable - I've had good experiences with Benfei in the past - but as so many others have said. . . If you're getting your cable backward, make sure you're not getting it wrong. I don't think I have ever done so.
Otherwise, the price is good and they work well. It was clear that they put effort into it.
