After reading the reviews, I purchased it because it was recommended as working. As a result, it works flawlessly. The previous one I bought before this didn't, it would get stuck when it booted. An issue with the chipset is responsible for the problem. Anyway, this SSD has UASP and TRIM, which basically means that whenever you store data in your SSD, TRIM will just overwrite any bits of 0s and 1s in that location, regardless of whether or not those bits were marked/flagged as deleted. As a result of TRIM, without it the driver will first zero out all the bits before inserting SSDs are restricted to a maximum amount of write cycles with this method. It is unfortunate that TRIM is a hardware feature, so any cable/adapter that does not support it, will not be able.

Hard drives are available for MacBook models up to 5'. There's been an issue with one of the computers for a while now! With a USB 3, I was able to do this. On my computer, I connected a USB device to the port 0 and it immediately detected the hard drives! In addition to trying this adapter with an old full-size DVD drive I had lying around, I also tried connecting this adapter to my laptop. That device would not be able to be powered on by it therefore, I recommend it for two devices. (Notebook style) drives that are 5' long. have not tested this product with SATA SSDs, but I am confident that it would also work with them since they require less power to run. It was okay both times in terms of transfer speeds.

Throughout the years, I have collected a large number of laptop hard drives. I wanted to repurpose these drives but I was hesitant to take my computer apart to install each hard drive. I was considering an external hard drive case, but it would require removing each drive to see if there was data on it. These are amazing! Plug one into the hard drive and the other into the computer, and I can do it any way I want. I can use them under all three of my operating systems without installing any drivers The three major operating systems are Linux, Mac OS X, This is the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me. The purpose is that I plan on purchasing a bunch more drives so that I can connect them to a raspberry pi and create an attached network storage system.

To use my Raspberry Pi 4 and an external SSD, I had been looking for a USB adapter. After turning it on, the first unit showed an error message and wouldn't work at all. In the second, the activity lights were absent on the SSD. I tried it on a third case after getting a recommendation so I gave it a try. I have to reboot my Pi every time, and I can clearly see SSD activity emanating from this adapter. I like that the cord is not too long and the unit is very compact, and it also appears to be well made, even though the USB port is not included. For this purpose, a good adapter is needed.

The following has been updated Just because I wasn't fully satisfied with the transfer speed, the manufacturer refunded the order without my having to ask. It is my favorite to work for companies that provide great service, so I decided to switch to a 5-star rating. I don't think there's much you can do better. However, the fact that I am getting a very slow transfer rate makes this product difficult to recommend - it works great and appears to have very high build quality. It is more like USB 2 than USB 3. There are no speeds, with the maximum being 75 mph In place of USB 3. 0, 90 MB/s is the faster speed. This is 625 MB/s faster than 0's theoretical maximum speed). A port of 3 would be perfect for me. I ordered the 3 port in lieu of the 0 port. This cable has no signal. There is a possibility that it is What is the problem with that 5" HDD? Uncertainty is hard to come by. Returning seems like a good idea to me.

I found it to be affordable and it worked well. When I installed the new mother board and SSD drive on the old touchscreen laptop that had been damaged by something spilled in it, the computer did not recognize it, even though a USB drive with Ubuntu on it was detected. Many people have had problems with their computers failing to recognize their new devices. In a flash it recognized the SSD drive immediately after I removed the drive from the device and connected The Ubuntu installation on the SSD was successful and I was able to reinstall it on the laptop. Excellent purchase. I'm very happy with it.

I am very happy with the seller. We refunded the whole amount. I ordered a different unit that has a separate power connection since it does not work with any of my external hard drives. A lot of hard drives require too much power, but that was not mentioned in the specifications. Seeing as I know the hard drives function and they wouldn't boot up, I have a question. Make sure that you are familiar with the power specifications for hard drives and USBs. The seller gave a full refund to me without requesting it. I was well taken care of. The company has a good reputation and I would recommend them.

I used it to salvage what I could before reformatting/replacing the drive. Using it is super easy - just follow the instructions There's no need to install anything. However, the device will not work with larger desktop style drives, since it lacks a power source, as it can only power laptop drives. If you want to access a laptop drive, then this is an excellent method. You should look for a desktop drive that comes with an independent power supply if you need to use it.
