Questions & Answers

Is there a difference in the configuration of right angle cables and 90 degree cables?

(It was a standard curriculum I learned to read in high school Geometry class) to describe any physical entity with a 90 degree angle (or turn) in it's shape, to also refer to Based on the photo of the cable, I'm seeing to the left, the connector on the right has a 90 degree angle (turn) in it (the left end has a straight When looking at products on Amazon, I have found that it is more accurate to look at images of the products than the title and description of that product. I have contacted Amazon several times when titles and descriptions of products I thought were inaccurate were inaccurate and they made the necessary corrections.

Is this going to work on both a 13" and a 15" MacBook Pro? Would either of the 2010s be okay?

Apple uses a sata 3 cable that's ultra thin to fit under the hard drive in a Macbook.

How well does this work to transfer data from one m2 drive to another m2 ?

What kind of interface does it have? You should check the specifications of your drive.

Plugged it in for the first time and it broke
3/5

The first time I plugged it in, the cable broke. After snapping off the release tab, the black part of the tab fell Unfortunately, I wasn't able to return it to Amazon until after the 30 day return period expired. I can't return a cable that was too swamped to install it until after the 30 day return period expired on this cable. A RECENT UPDATE Even though Monoprice cables are supposed to carry a lifetime warranty, after half a dozen attempts (email, phone, web chat, amazon message system) I haven't been able to get any replacement from them and have given Putting way too much effort into it (should have given up before, but it feels as if one more try could make it work. It is not). Things don't seem to be going well for them The stars are zero.

This is a really hard process to screw up
5/5

This is generally a one or five star kind of product, with five stars if it works, and one star I gave it five stars because it works, thus I gave it five There's no advertising for bulk packaging, which is always irritating to me. I rate this item 5 stars based on the following criteria As advertised, works perfectly, fit and finish are excellent - what you'd expect from a product of this type and a great value for the price. I really like this product and it works as advertised, fit and finish is good for a product of this type, might have a small flaw*3 It generally works, but there are a few things I'd change*2 stars This is a barely working product, although it can be useful with a little effort
1 Is useless, doesn't perform its intended function, and is a total waste of money.

The quality of the product is what you pay for
3/5

relatively experienced when it comes to PC building, but I bought this product for the first time. The cable never worked (dead on arrival), and even though I was within the return period, the company refused to There is no doubt in my mind that this You'd be much better off purchasing a cable of higher quality that can be returned. I guessed it wouldn't work, because it's kind of cheaply made. You should at least get two so that if one doesn't work, you can also get one from another seller. However, it's still better to get a pack from another seller if you can't resist the cheap price.

I believe this is a cable, and it seems to work just fine
4/5

It seems like a very secure method of communication The cable is being fitted. latches are made of metal, and they click into position with a light click, but they may be difficult to press when the cable is attached to a tight motherboard or small SSD drive. This cable is pretty stiff, and I hope that means it's well built. Because of this, sending it across the room is quite difficult. Of course, you'll probably only use it one time and never touch it again, so it's not.

You can get cable for a cheap price
3/5

Cheap cable is an ideal material for this project. You can save a lot of money if you spend a little more. My HDD and motherboard were barely connected by this cable. I have not had success with SATA 3, I am only getting 145 MBPS on a SATA 3 mobo and a SATA 3 hard drive. I should be getting at least Even though I managed to get it on the hard drive without breaking it, I hope that I never have to take it off again. If it was to fall apart, I am sure it would.

I have just used it for the first time, so I plugged it in
3/5

My first use of it caused it to snap off at the 90° end, after plugging it in. Torque and pressure are to be kept at a minimum.

Nonetheless, it is a great cable
4/5

A 90 degree angle is needed for these cables to lock on to the drive. The angle of the keying feature is not specified. On one application, I got lucky, but on the other, it was 180 degrees out of whack. You should be aware that the operation of this cable may be affected by the keying feature on your hard drive and the position in your computer. If the product description included a pic that shows the keying feature, it would be of tremendous value.

The question is what is not to like? The only reason I don't like it is that I don't understand what it is about
5/5

I only received a single SATA data cable with my power supply. I bought this for my SSD despite using the BDR rather than this for my BDR. All of the components fit in place perfectly. There are no problems. As a result of the Samsung 850 EVO SSD, I get 500 MB/sec read and write speeds.
