In a nutshell, My tower casing is a bit larger than usual, so I needed a way to extend my SATA power cable. In order to be able to route from front to back of the tower it needs to be long enough to avoid stretching. The point of my setup was to manage the cables so the front of my PC Also needed a new one for my internal USB 3 card. Works well without any issues. I had no problem installing this cable because it is well built.
There are usually three SATA power taps on a power supply today, which is a bit too close together. A few devices needed power in places where the factory connectors wouldn't reach. This solution worked perfectly to provide power to the devices in those places.

My only regret was not spending the extra $2 to get this one which had a sleeve, the plastic SATA connectors don't feel cheap, and the ends are reasonably well protected.
