Since power splitters are designed for short-term use, SATA power splitters are not all that good. As a temporary fix, they can be used until a better solution can be found (bigger power supply). Thus, these splitters turned out to be the perfect solution when I needed more connectors immediately after getting over a barrel.

The cables have worked for me without any problems. It's normally a cable that you just install, dress, and forget about, but in my case we have a different situation. The tools I use to test and repair PC components are instrumental in helping me with my daily work. It's usually not too costly to buy these locally, but I have to do it every couple of months since the price is a little over half of what I pay online. There have been several of these on the benches for over a year now, and they still do not seem to be slowing down.
