An 18-inch extension is a good choice for this item. There is ample space between the ports to feed four I only have one complaint, however, which is that the connectors are upside down from what you would expect. Normally, you would use a cable from a power supply mounted under You'll need to connect your drives from the top down since the cable requires them to go from the top To reach all drives, the only alternative is to reverse the twist on each connector, but that may not leave enough slack to reach all.
The pros are This package contains a 4 way power splitter. All connections are being worked on. Fast shipping. Very happy with this. The cons are There's one minor complaint to mention the Sata headers are upside down, but if you know how to manage the cables, it's not a big deal. A total of eight Sata connections are connected to my cage stack, the four-way splitter going from the bottom to the top, and the power connection at the top. you're using a short Sata power cable from your power supply, make sure to measure it before setting this up, or use the 2nd splitter as an extension or another extension, and the problem would be solved.
All in all, it works great.
A bendable material. Due to the original cables that came with the power supply that were way too hard, I had difficulty sealing the case when I had 8 drives. With this one, I no longer had this problem. There are soft cables on this one and it curls In the same vein as others, it's made upside down, which I find no problem.
The reason I got these didn't have to do with overloading the power supply, just to have a nice clean build for my server and limit how much wire each drive pools up. If the drives are spaced closely, it is possible to wire every other drive or have a manageable loop if they are spaced densely. I love the tight connection of the connectors on this drive, and the fact that there is no molded crap that can and has caught fire in the past.
The software is highly recommended for those who wish to eliminate computer power cable clutter.
I really don't have much to say about it with the exception that it's a pretty good price for what it's You can depend on it to do the job and not mess it The only thing I can ask is that it fulfills my needs.
There were no problems with it and it worked. Although there is absolutely no premium feel to this case, you can always get a fancy modular power supply if you so desire. This is the place to go if you are looking for utility.
