Those not familiar with SAS hardware and accessories should know that this cable connects a backplane/hard drive cage (on the SAS side) to a motherboard or controller card (on the SATA A BREAKOUT CABLE allows you to connect a SATA backplane/hard drive cage to a SAS motherboard/controller card. As far as I can tell, it does not have a label indicating it is a reverse It is recommended to label both if you are working.
