The cable I needed was a high quality Cat5e cable since I was crossing over the 20 foot mark. I always turn to Tripp Lite for my lighting needs. Assuming that you have a gigabyte connection, upgrading from a 5 foot cat5e cable to a 100 foot cable will only result in a 13% loss of upload and download speeds. It has been a smooth connection with no interruptions.

The cat5 network cable that this is is very high quality, and you can choose any size you like. There is a good look to the cable itself, with a nice finish and just the right amount of flexibility. The plugs themselves appear to be of good quality. You have the option of buying a reel of cat5 cable and finishing the ends yourself (I have done it many times before, believe me), but at these prices, high quality, and length options for anything except dropping cable across an entire house, these really are a good They are highly recommended, and I may purchase a couple more for different uses in the future. This cable does not let go, nor is it as easy to break as those without a protective Installation and removal are easy, so I get the best of both worlds Having to shift the machine every few seconds is not unusual for someone confined to bed. I like the CAT 5 Ethernet cable that I have. As I prefer not to have a mess of wires and cables behind my electronics, the 3 foot length was an appealing feature for me. It appears to be a very well made cable with a very good connection. The connectors are of average quality and the cable itself is very well made. This would be a good recommendation.
