Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use this Touchpad with Linux Mint 15?

I purchased the 504 and was able to use it with Ubuntu 18. After logging in with the Gnome window manager, the 04 login window did not work. This indicated a Gnome driver problem, so I switched to the KDE window manager, which works perfectly.

Is it possible to sign this with it?

No, it's not true. Consider it similar to a laptop's touchpad. It's a pointing device.

Is this something that can be done on a desk? Is it possible to switch back and forth between a regular mouse and this one?

Yes, it is possible to use it on a computer. It was intended for use with my desktop computer, which is why I brought it. Yes, the touchpad and the mouse can be switched back and forth.

Is it possible to scroll the edges of the screen vertically and horizontally?

Scrolling with two fingers is possible on this device.

Clickers with a lot of volume   In fact, it's a nice touch
4/5

pad.
Pros: space- effective This is a better match for the touch-screen size. My laptop has a pad. Another small detail- I ordered and tried pads that were almost twice the size of this one, which appears to be far larger than a touchpad should be. br>The part of the 'touch' where your finger touches/slides is a little rough. This appealed to me because it appeared to assist me in determining how much my fingers slid. br>It's a touchpad that's 'wired. ' This is convenient because you don't have to worry about it running out of power or having to re-charge it. bf is being charged.
Cons: br>By using a USB cable, you can connect your computer to the internet. In the connector, it fits loosely. I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem, but I just wish it had been a little tighter. The clicker buttons are a little too loud. This not only irritates me, but it would also drive anyone in my vicinity insane. br>Aside from these two drawbacks, it appears to be a very good, simple-to-use game. Touchpad is a good option.

Simple touchpads in two sizes that are both functional and cost effective
5/5

UPDATE FOR 2019: REVIEW OF THE LARGE MODELbr>As I previously stated in my review, it is incredibly difficult to find touchpads that allow you to select text or blocks of data in the same way that normal laptop touchpads do. Despite the mixed reviews on this site, I decided to try the larger model when I needed one for my home computer. br>br>The larger touchpad functions in the same way as a standard laptop touchpad. There is no need to install any software, just like the smaller version. All you have to do now is plug it in and you're ready to go. The large, physical mouse buttons are especially appealing to me. A few things to keep in mind:

- This isn't a touchpad that can be used with precision. It functions similarly to a standard mouse. You'll have to look elsewhere if you require a precise touchpad.
- Some people have complained of hypersensitivity, which I haven't had any experience with. If this is a problem, the built-in Windows mouse settings can be used to change the pointer speed and other features. Finally, while this touchpad isn't as sleek or customizable as the JellyComb ($70) or Apple ($120) models, it is only $25. In other words, it's adequate for basic computer tasks, but it's not particularly fancy, which may or may not meet your requirements. It just so happens to be ideal for me. br>br>ORIGINAL REVIEW OF SMALLER MODELbr>Because I have carpal tunnel syndrome, I prefer to use a touch pad with my desktop PC. Finding one that functions similarly to a standard laptop touch pad is surprisingly difficult. I do a lot of work with Word and Excel, and the newer touch pads don't let you do a normal click and drag, so they're useless to me. br>br>This touchpad is smaller than I expected, but it works fine; I just plugged it in and didn't have to install anything, which was important because I'm working on a system where I can't install anything, even a mouse driver. It appears to be in good condition. It's well-made, and because it's small and light, it's simple to transport if I switch computers. Furthermore, the cost is reasonable.

It does the job, but it could be designed better
4/5

Everything went smoothly, plug-in-style. on my laptop with Windows 7 and plug-and-play It was a crucial find because my laptop's touchpad had begun to fail. I liked how it was small enough (barely) to fit over my old touchpad, which I secured with tape or a rubber band. However, I can imagine a better-looking alternative. item that has been designed Here are a few of my complaints, in order of importance:

- It is difficult to press the two click buttons. It puts a lot of strain on your wrists. This is my main gripe with it. Clicking on them is "slow" and clumsy. They could also be bigger in order to hit them with more force.
- The cord is longer than it should be, resulting in a tangle of cords all over you. Because one naturally keeps it close to his laptop, two feet would have been sufficient.
- Given that most people are right-handed, the cord should have exited on the left side rather than the right. It's a minor issue.
- The interface for controlling the touchpad's parameters (pointer movement speed, click speed) was not written in a user-friendly manner. You have no idea what you're doing. br>br>It's a good thing I have it. However, I intend to purchase a USB touchpad from a different manufacturer to see if there are any that are better.

Flaky and erratic are two words that come to mind when I think of you
3/5

This is almost completely ineffective. Gestures are clumsy and inconsistent in their execution. With this pad, scrolling in particular is nearly impossible. There isn't much documentation, and it doesn't appear to have any settings that can be changed. During my brief trial, I discovered that it frequently selected items that I had not intended to select, and because there is no built-in "escape" function, I had to use it with one hand hovering over the "escape" button - which, on occasion, did not work. So another thing I had to do all the time was close windows that I had accidentally opened. I purchased it because it was reasonably priced and appeared to be a tried-and-true product. What could possibly go wrong with tried-and-true technology at this point? I suppose I figured it out.

The touchpad itself is good, but be aware of reverse scrolling and the ability to disable edge swipe
3/5

Touch-sensitive scrolls Click, for example, performs admirably and precisely. However, it is extremely inconvenient that two-thirds of the time, two-thirds of the time Finger scrolling works in the opposite direction of normal touchpads on laptops, both up and down as well as left to right. Normally, sliding two fingers down moves the screen down, but with this touchpad, it scrolls up! Left to right, in the same order: When two fingers are slid to the right, the screen shifts left. Edge swipe is normally disabled for touchpads and can be easily disabled for the touch screen under settings, but there is no way to disable it for the touch screen. This touchpad, however, is not recognized as a touchpad or touch screen by Windows 10 (it is recognized as a generic keyboard), so there is no way to turn it off. To disable edge swipe, I wrapped a piece of duct tape around the touchpad's edge. br>br>UPDATE: Learn how to change the scroll direction to match a standard laptop on this page: wizard of partitions com/clone-clone-clone-clone-clon reversible disk scrubbing Windows 10 is the latest version of Windows. htmlbr>br>Instructions for editing the registry can be found at the bottom of this page. You're out of luck if you don't know how to modify the registry. br>br>Aside from duct tape, I haven't been able to find a way to disable edge swipe.
