Questions & Answers

How many nibs does it come with?

If you mean nibs, do you mean the tips of the pens? There are several in the base of the pen if this is true. It has several extra pen tips stuffed inside the tip cap that can be unscrewed to remove it from the pen base.

How long will it take for the pen nibs to wear out?

If you prefer not to use the other end of the pen, you can do so as well to save your nibs. This product doesn't give you a fine line but it's great for covering up or filling in blemishes.

Connecting it via Bluetooth is easy, but how do you do it? The led is on but it's not visible to any of my computers when I press the on button. ?

This is what I wrote in response to someone who was facing this issue. The following is the information I need to use Please press and hold the middle button around the touch ring until you see the blue led start blinking rapidly on the other side of the table.
Click on the BT icon on the tray and select Add Device. You will see two devices, one labeled BT IntuosPro and another called LE IntuosPro installed. The second device should be ignored, and just the one with "BT" in its name should be connected. Then I was able to do that.

Does this idea have the potential to be a ?

The device provides an interface between your graphics program and the computer. I have used it with an older graphics program that I enjoy and with Photoshop &amp Adobe Illustrator Author and illustrator. You can paint with it, so yes, you can.

A tablet that is subject to planned obsolescence
3/5

This is very The Wacom Intuos 3 has been a beloved instrument of mine for many, many years, now it is time to upgrade. With this one, the Intuos Pro, I stayed with Wacom. There had been some reviews that claimed that the surface of the tablet was wearing away the pen nibs quickly and I assumed it could not Because of this, my Intuos 3 pen nibs never, ever wore out during the years that I owned As it turns out, the reviewers were right in their assessment of the project. Even after only an hour of use, the nib of the pen was already flattened. As I was a little disappointed in the performance of the pad, I became frustrated. I hesitate to use the pad until there is a solution for the problems. There are people who say the solution is to keep using the pad as is and to change the nibs, but that isn't the I don't believe Wacom should get more business just because they supply parts that degrade quickly they should have realized right from the beginning that texturing a drawing surface wasn't the best It is aimed at making drawing feel more natural, like writing on paper, claim Wacom developers. The answer is yes, but only to the extent that drawing on it is truly the same as You will have to replace your pen nib and "sharpen" it once it has filed down to a point. With the tablet, you receive a pressure pen of the latest generation, which looks and feels nice a housing for the pen, which also houses about 10 replacement nibs (6 plastic and 4 felt), which is also With the option of turning on touch controls, you can use the tablet wirelessly, and the tablet can charge the battery so it can operate wirelessly as well. There is nothing wrong with this product itself, but it has been designed to wear down the finger tips that are key to using it, and I cannot agree that it is a wise thing to do, so I'm going with The surface needs to be changed. I really want to give it more, and I really would. As an alternative to the texture sheet, Wacom sells "texture sheets" which enable the pad surface to be altered. Is there any reason why the default tablet didn't remain as smooth as the Intuos 3 pad was and give people the option of adding texture later on? There are three different sheet options rough, medium, and smooth, but even the smooth option has grit to it, so it prolongs the wear of the tips, not stops Each of the surfaces acts as sandpaper for the plastic nibs, just in different When using a tip on the Rough texture, I can only imagine how long it would last. It's disappointing to see Wacom go! You could have gone back to the smooth texture of older models, so why did you put a texture on the basics? I have no choice now but to test other products until I can find the right one to solve the problem. While I intend to use this tablet, I would rather cover it with a sheet of acrylic than needlessly file the tip of my pen. Ink in a pen shouldn't act like lead in a pencil, or lead in a pen like ink in a pencil. As a result, I must change them when I need a different experience, when the tip that is in does not seem to suit my needs. My drawings do not wear down because of the surface I use. The parts that are scraped off don't do so because they scrape off like graphite. As far as I am concerned, Wacom knew what it was doing when it designed this tablet, they meant for their customers to continually replace their nibs.

Are you having trouble deciding what size to get? The following reasons explain why you should buy the smaller version
5/5

The medium I originally purchased would have been nice to have, but I regretted I started learning and tinkering with the medium the minute it arrived. At first it was awkward. In one of the tutorials, the guy described his settings this way You can set the amount of space that the medium sized tablet maps to your screen so that he only utilizes about a quarter of the entire surface of the tablet. As a result, you do not need to move your hand as much, and you can also make much better strokes. When I tried using it, I found it to be much easier to use and It was the small that I ordered Having it on my desk is more convenient, it fits better on my desk, and I'm not losing space on a device that I'm not using. A small is also cheaper than a medium and more affordable than a The decision to return the medium and replace it with a small was an easy one. My input devices are a 4K screen and a large display, so maybe if I were going to use it for drawing I would get a larger screen, but if I were going to process photos, this screen is plenty big.

An introduction to a new user would be as follows That's great
3/5

Are you upgrading? I did not think it was worth the money. b) It was very lightweight and gorgeous. This model is an exquisite design that's comfortable to hold and carry (even if it's large). Occasionally, it can become extremely cold due to the back being made completely of metal. 1) Native wireless functionality (no wireless accessory kit is necessary, like the previous model). Bluetooth works well and doesn't lag one bit, and I didn't experience any drops. 1) The new pen has over 8000 levels of pressure sensitivity. Native touch support

4) Excellent palm rejection

5) Native touch support. •6) I LOVE the new pen stand it is incredibly cool, well designed, and feels great in my hand. The cons are 1) If you are not a new user and your programs are set up with specific pressure curves or you use brushes with a certain amount of pressure, you will have to calibrate every time. A single person. An airbrush. I want to keep the same general feel when I do the work. Even lighter strokes can now be used for stippling work, making it easier than ever before. 3) If you’re using the Wacom Art Pen (the one with rotation sensitivity) then you will either have to give up the new pressure levels or give up the rotation functionality. It was the rotation that I chose at the end, since the differences in sensitivity levels are hardly noticeable.

3) The surface sheet is rough. Wacom does not even offer the new "rough" surface at this point (or will be able to soon, as the new sheets are not yet available). I feel like I am writing with a Sharpie on cardboard when using the standard nib (even the felt one). 4) The amount of drag that the new nibs and surface sheet produce really slow down production times if you are used to doing light, fast 5) As well as the amount of drag from the nibs and surface sheet, the nibs are totally destroyed. My touch is very light and I have never had to replace a Wacom nib in the 14 years I've used their tablets, but a single nib on this new sheet ate up within two weeks. As a result, I tended to use the Art Pen instead of the new pen most of the time. We used it for about 9 hours total and it completely wore out. There is a very high probability that using felt nibs will be more problematic - Furthermore, they do not have any packs of the new nibs yet in the store. It is likely that every nib will have been used up by the time they do. 6) Touch is not working properly While Photoshop's touch capabilities are the best so far, it can quickly distinguish between a rotate and a zoom motion, while most other programs do not quite do what they should. In fact, it's not really an issue with the tablet itself, but rather with the driver and compatibility with different applications. 7) At the moment (early Feb 2017), the driver seems to be having some issues and causes some It is not a Bluetooth device, it is wired. Sometimes, a stroke will take a moment to pick up, and Photoshop will freeze for seconds at a time before picking up the stroke. It's proven to be a problem that is unique to the new model when this issue is resolved with an older driver and a different pen. 8) The side buttons are difficult to use while not looking at the tablet as you can barely feel them on the surface of the tablet despite their aesthetic appeal - The search for shortcut buttons was a major time eat up for me. Although the touch ring appears to be fine. 9) The nibs themselves feel extremely cheap and flimsy, and only come in two types The nibs are felt and standard they do not have rubber tips or springs. Unlike the old pen, the new one will not accept old nibs. There is a tendency for the nibs to fall out of this model and need to be re-inserted every now and then. The nibs, in general, are the most concerning issue I am experiencing with this 10) Any old accessories (for example, the larger grip) will not work with the new pen. In order to accommodate the new size and shape of wacom's pen, there are no ergonomic alternative grips available at this time. 11) Although lighter, the new pen feels significantly cheaper despite its lighter weight. Aside from the pen's side button rattling when shaken, it has an extremely light actuation weight, which is what makes it fun to use. A shake of the pen can cause it to be accidentally pressed. The result is 12) $500. Unless you're already using an older model Intuos Pro, then you may not think upgrading to the "regular" model is a worthwhile purchase if you already own the Paper model. It could also be an older Intuos standard . So, if you're hoping to upgrade from a Pen and Touch, Bamboo or other smaller hobbyist tablets, these devices are worth your consideration. You're looking at a high price tag for nib replacements over the years with this upgrade, but it'll be well worth it if you're okay with it. The Intuos Pro/Intuos model is not worth the price for someone who currently owns these models already.

I bought this 6 months ago and it stopped working
3/5

Purchasing the Intuos Pro Medium was a good decision for me. When I used the product it worked well for me, so I am disappointed now. tablet stopped working 6 months after purchase when I tried to use the pen. My touch only works about half the time when I plug the unit in to my computer. If I remove the computer cord from the unit, I have no more touch. It is only possible to use touch through Bluetooth. I updated the firmware, but it did not work. A protection plan I purchased will allow me to return the item for repair or replacement. The person who was supposed to contact me never did. My attempt to file and A4 didn't go through I filed a claim with Amazon about this product, but they said it was too late to file. The product I bought did not work, and now I am out $300. Buying the protection is a waste of money. Money is being wasted on something that is useless. So that's that. That's very true. I am dissatisfied.
