The only restriction is that you can only use one color, but this hasn't been a problem for me. While he can draw on his iPad, if he's holding it like he does these days (which he loves), he'll be watching YouTube kids and not drawing with it. My initial assumption was that it was a bad battery, but I didn't want to pay the $5 for a new one, so I sent it back to Amazon (the service was excellent as always. )I bought a replacement and it didn't clear within a few days. Our test found that sometimes if you left it alone for a day, it would work once and then stop working. Upon closing the computer, I made the mistake of assuming the battery was dead. In order to make sure my son would be able to use the digital camera on a family weekend getaway, I emailed the manufacturer and requested a replacement battery. In the meantime I bought a battery for $5. No difference was seen after installing the battery. In order to do that, I used my multipurpose device The batteries were found to be in excellent condition when I tested them with the meter There is an original and a new version. In addition to fixing small electronics around the house, I also take care of a lot of household duties. The parts of the cameras I've disassembled and replaced have been replaced before. The stupid trinket toy one of my boys got as a freebie at a party even got fixed by me. Therefore, I took a look at the battery compartment of the Boogie Board and thought perhaps some of the battery connectors were not making good contact. To fix this, I used a very small screwdriver to bend them back into place. One time I was able to get it to clear. This is not something I want to deal with The second one I am returning and I will not be buying a third. [Updated] After a couple days, Kent Displays sent me an email asking for the serial number of the unit. I quickly provided that number. After I sent an email, I received a response from them saying they would send a replacement out immediately. The UPS tracking number was sent to me in another email. I think that there was a run of bad equipment that was sold by Amazon, which is the reason why my replacement has been working great for a couple weeks now. I am very pleased with the item. This product is the rage among my son and I am very happy with it. It cannot get 5 stars due to the issues with the first two products, but it is much better than the previous two. I was unable to find my son's pen in fat On the recommendation of a pal (yes, it is still a thing), I snagged one. It was your fault Kent Displays, thank you for making things [Updated again]
After 3 or 4 replacements, the latest one has again failed to clear. My last one lasted for a couple of months and each one lasted a bit longer. My point is that I could email Kent again, but I don't think it is worth it. Even if replacements keep getting sent, there is no point in doing so if they keep dying. Although this had such great potential, it has turned out to be.
