I 100% do not know if the Topaz will work in web browsers; However, I found that it worked on other 'active signature fields' for forms, which I use for custom software. The Topaz capture pad, on the other hand, is fantastic.
Topazsystems, according to their website. There's a "2-" on the website. A one-year limited warranty is available with the option of renewing it.

Yes, I prefer to save a MS Word document to PDF before signing it because it appears to work better that way. The only issue I've yet to solve is when someone recently sent me a PDF for signature that was in landscape format. I was able to convert it to a portrait PDF using Adobe Acrobat, but when I activated the Topaz software, I was unable to sign it. The software comes with very little documentation. In fact, I didn't get any software with the signature pad and had to get it off the internet. There are a variety of software applications available online; I chose the one that I thought would work best; there may be another version that allows you to change the document from landscape to portrait mode, but I haven't found it yet. br>Overall, I'm happy with this device; it's the same one that many retailers and even our local hospital use. I also came across a software program for medical offices. This is something I use all the time because it prevents me from printing, scanning, signing, formatting, and downloading to the location where my signature is required.

Drake Software is required for use. It doesn't turn on. If you're looking for something straightforward and straightforward, this is the place to go. I was satisfied with it, but some customers prefer to see how they are signing, which this does not provide. I wish I had spent a little more money on the more advanced features.
These signature pads are convenient to have on hand. I use them to get signatures on PDFs for my business. For four years, I owned an older model Topaz, which eventually died. They did a good job for around $100. However, determining which driver(s) to download in order for it to function is a pain. Have you ever visited Topaz's website? There are about five different things to download, and I'm not sure which ones I need and which ones I don't! I simply kept downloading garbage until it worked. Then it stopped working for a day or so, and we had to reboot the computer and fiddle with it to get it to cooperate. So. For the time being, it's been working flawlessly; however, there should be one freaking file folder or page for each model that states "this is what you need. " I sincerely hope that I will never have to visit their website again.
It's not as simple as plugging in a device and turning it on. Make sure you use the drivers from the website; at first, I thought I didn't need software because I was running Windows 10. The website is, to be honest, a shambles. They serve as protectors. br>br> They don't fit the screen, they don't come with instructions, and they were just thrown in the box.
We bought it to use with our Mac at work so that customers could sign liability waivers electronically. Despite the fact that every description we found stated that it was compatible, it will not work with either our desktop or laptop, even after installing all of the recommended drivers. It's so aggravating!.
Installing the software, on the other hand, is a little difficult. Knowing what software to install, to put it another way. If you don't know how to use a computer, you might have some difficulties. However, 5 months after purchasing it, I had a problem with it not working in Adobe, so I called the support number, and the lady was able to assist me. She wasn't particularly pleasant, in that she didn't inquire as to how my day had gone, but she quickly resolved the issue. I was grateful for her presence, for her assistance in resolving the problem, and for her quickness.
I've had this pad for a long time, back when Windows was still a viable operating system, and I've never had any problems with it. Unfortunately, I had to return this one because it would not work on my MAC laptop. Adobe Reader is the only way to make use of it. Unfortunately, I will not be able to use this because I am using it for business purposes. I was hoping for the best! I discovered that Topaz does not currently produce a signature pad for MAC, so if you're thinking about buying one, do your homework first. I wish I had!.
The software isn't functioning properly. This was purchased for use in signature fields on pdf forms. I installed their software and plug-ins for Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office, and when those didn't work, I installed their pDoc software. That, too, did not work. br>br>The signature pad's demo program is the only place where it works. br>br>I've contacted their customer service, and I'll let you know if they can help.
If you need to sign certain Office or Adobe documents, this is a more cost-effective option than other options. It's not a digital ID, but it's a legitimate way to add a signature to whatever you're publishing. Works with Office 2003, 2007, 2010, and 2013 products and can be easily set up from the web page where the necessary software can be downloaded (web address included in the getting started guide). Look for a GenSig pad if you're looking for a product that allows you to create a "Signature Generator Digital Signature. " The price is higher, but it comes with a broader set of features that cater to a wider range of business requirements. The SigPlus products are designed for personal and home use, as well as small businesses that don't require a true digital signature.
