Before this one, I tried two other pens (one called Cis. and then there was Mek. ) and both were skipped and not at all what I had hoped for. Is this the adventure I'm looking for? Handwriting that is simple! I want what I write on the screen to be as accurate as possible, with no skips or hard pressing; simply act like a pen and DO IT. This is sufficient to complete the task. I'm a sloppy writer who writes quickly, but I want to see it on screen right now. This was the one that did exactly that, out of all the ones with great reviews. br>br>However, I had heard that the white tab should be avoided. I'm not sure if this still holds true, but I didn't want to take any chances: TAKE CARE NOT TO PULL THE WHITE TAB! I simply inserted the battery, wrapped the white tab around it, slid it into the pen, and tightened the screw. That's exactly what I did, and it was successful. br>br>I should point out that I don't mind magnets or buttons as long as I don't press them. I simply want to write directly to a note, and I want to do so as soon as possible. I'd like a quick response on my screen. This is the first stylus I've ever received that perfectly followed my handwriting. Because my handwriting was sloppy, I had to concentrate solely on writing that word; the rest was gibberish that only I could understand. Nonetheless, it all appeared on the screen. This stylus, however, is PERFECT.
This stylus alternative does exactly what it says on the tin. The only drawback is that if you have large hands (like me), this stylus is very light and the barrel is much smaller than the original. This causes you to miss the target more frequently when working on the Surface, and you have a tendency to press too hard. The buttons are well-placed, and the spare nib is a nice touch. Also, because it communicates with the tablet in a unique way, the buttons can't be assigned, but many people will appreciate the fact that you now have a stylus with an equivalent Right Mouse Click button.
I bought this for less than half the price to replace my Surface pen, which came with my Surface purchase and lasted about two years of light to moderate use before acting up. br>br>On a Surface Pro 3 with this pen:

- no eraser button (not really a con, but I'd grown accustomed to that feature on the Surface pen)br>br>Now that the Surface pen is sold separately, I wouldn't buy it and instead opt for this one. There are no regrets on my part.
For roughly half the price of the official Surface Pen, you get excellent quality and features. I bought it for my son to go with his new Surface Go, and he absolutely loves it. The only real disadvantage is that it lacks the official one's magnetic holder, but you can still carry it in by using the eyelit slip on your cover, which is far more reliable than the magnetic attachment, which could easily be broken when putting it in a bag or simply carrying it around more aggressively.
The spring comes out with the tab in the battery compartment, which I lost for a few minutes when I pulled it off. It isn't in sync with the SP. Overall, it's probably fine for other models, but not for the Surface Pro 2017. br>br>Edit: About this review, the seller contacted me. Without my even implying that I wanted a new one, the seller sent one without hesitation. The seller has wowed me. Before I go to Amazon, I'm going to look at this seller to see what they have to offer. Because of my personal experience, I gave it a five-star rating. It's nice to know that good people still exist. As I previously stated, this pen is well-made and of excellent quality.
With their trembling fingers, the elderly find it difficult to sign the reports. This makes it much easier for them, and it allows me to quickly navigate through all of the tabs. The only criticism I have is that the clip is made of cheap plastic, which means that if you want to clip it to your shirt, it will easily break. Aside from that, it's a good deal.
This stylus is one of my favorites. It performs just as well as the brand-name version and is even better because it is less expensive.

I contacted customer service, who advised me to try removing the device from Device Manager and then re-enabling it. install. This was a great solution, and the pen hasn't let me down since! My purchase has pleased me.
