I am* *br* There are two strengths of the blower, respectively-- There will no longer be canned air - - Strong blows* * - No cons I am* *br* It was loud. There is a lot of noise. I am* *br* It's hard to attach the attachments and they won't stay on completely. I am* *br* An easy way to obstruct air intake is to wipe it down. Those who read the original post will notice that I have a major problem with attachments and lack of mechanics related to attachments. The attachments of this device are held on by tension, however, when the motor is on AND strong hair is blowing, it causes the attachments to fall off almost immediately. A powerful blower will not only cause the attachments to fall off but also blow them out. Keep your hands off the attachments, or else you could spear your computer or whatever it is.
In order to give a computer's internal parts and power supply a proper cleaning, this is simply not the way to go. While the air pressure of the machine is pretty good, it not as focused as canned air when it comes to cleaning out dust that builds up inside of a computer. With the attachments you can remove the surface layer fine, but dust that has been there for a long time will remain. You'll have to use a can of air to remove it. I also found that the air coming out of this unit was also very hot very quickly, which is not what I was looking for in a computer or electronic duster. There was no noise from our home vacuum cleaner, but the unit is extremely loud. The vendor that Amazon stuck me with does not offer returns even though it does not state it on the checkout or purchase pages.

As someone who used both the DataVac duster and this one, I can vouch that this one was superior. Among the problems with the DataVac is that the housing is made of metal which gets extremely hot, and that the house is made of two pieces and that they are joined near the middle It is a design defect that causes a stream of air to blow through the housing when the fan is turned on, reducing the overall blowing power. Units with poor performance are fewer than units with excellent performance. Although it does not possess the same defect, this Airrow duster contains a housing made of high-quality ABS plastic (the same material used in football helmets) and is actually slightly more powerful, even when it is not taken into account the DataVac's fixed design flaw. In addition, neither blower will perform enough to remove deep embedded dust in heatsinks or computer components. Nothing will be able to provide the same level of results as compressed air on that front. However, it will function well if you need to dust loose dust from a computer case, or dust from fans. If you are considering purchasing a DataVac ED500, you should instead get this one.
