The pressure is very close to that of canned air, just a little less than a full can. The power reaches 100% upon flipping the "On" switch, there is no build up limit. There are two speeds to choose from.
No, it does not protect against ESD, but it can be used with caution. The material is plastic, which is a charge-holding insulator. We're talking tens of thousands of volts here! Keep the nozzles at least a few inches away from the motherboard or any other electronics, and spray from a safe distance; this is a powerful blower, after all. Brushes should never be used on anything inside the case; instead, they should be used on the outside of the case, the keyboard, and so on.
Instead of pushing the straw into the cone attachment, I pushed it out, then attached the merged units to the duster. I hope this information is useful.
No, the fans do not have to be removed. It's also necessary to blow them out. Just make sure the power is turned off before blowing it out.

- Strengths of two blowersbr>- There will be no canned air in the future. br>- Powerful blowsbr>br>Cons-
- Loud. Quite a bit of noise.
- The attachments are poor quality and do not stay in place completely.
- It's very easy to obstruct air intake. br>br>The attachments and lack of attachment mechanicisms are my main gripes with this. The attachments are held in place by tension, but when the entire thing vibrates due to the motor AND strong hair blowing, the attachments fall off easily. br>At the same time as the attachments are falling off, the powerful blower will cause them to SHOOT OUT. To put it another way, keep your hands on the attachments or you'll end up spearing your computer or whatever it is you're dusting.
This isn't going to cut it if you want to thoroughly clean a PC's internals and power supply. br>br>The air pressure is adequate, but it is not as focused as canned air in removing the type of dust that accumulates in computers. Even with the attachments, it will remove the surface layer fine, but the dust that has been there for a long time will remain, requiring the use of a can of air to remove. br>br>The air coming out of this unit also gets extremely hot very quickly, which is not at all what I'm looking for in a computer/electronics duster. br>br>The unit is extremely loud, even louder than our vacuum cleaner at home. br>br>To add insult to injury, the vendor that amazon stuck me with doesn't allow returns, despite the fact that it didn't say anything about it on the purchase or checkout pages. Maybe I'll go out and buy an air mattress just to have something to do with this.
This is an inadequate substitute for can air-conditioning. The airflow is far too strong even on the lowest setting! When I tried to return it, I received a message saying that this item is not returnable, despite the fact that this is stated nowhere on the listing! I'm not in the least bit pleased! This was an Amazon Choice item, so it's a real bummer. really?.
br>br>Try inserting the attachment from the nozzle's inner part, pushing outwards (in the direction air will be blowing). FILING, SHOVING, AND SANDING ARE NOT PERMITTED! It's a good fit, but that's exactly how those parts should be put together. If you're anything like me, one can air bottle is just a teaser when it comes to the actual product. I don't think I'll ever be able to finish a cleaning job to my satisfaction. This item will alter your life (in the same way that discovering a lifetime supply of canned air would alter your life). PRESSURE IS HIGHER THAN CANNED AIR. br>br> br>br>MORE VERSATILITY thanks to all of the attachments included. br>br>Seriously, this thing gives me the creeps. I'm just waiting for work to end so that I can go home and finish cleaning the rest of my house. br>br>I'm excited to use this instead of hand drying my motorcycle after it's been washed! br>br>You will not be sorry for making this investment. There's a lot of value here.
After comparing this unit to the DataVac duster, I've come to the conclusion that this one is superior. The DataVac has a problem with its housing because it is made of metal, which gets extremely hot, and it is also made of two pieces that are joined near the center of the unit. This is a design flaw that causes air to blow through the housing while the unit is operating, reducing the unit's total effective blowing power. There are some units that are significantly worse than others. br>br>This Airrow duster, on the other hand, does not have that problem; its housing is made of high-quality ABS plastic (the same material used in football helmets) and is actually slightly more powerful than the DataVac, even without taking into account the fixed design flaw. br>br>Neither blower is adequate for fine dusting of computer components, such as heatsinks with deep embedded dust. Nothing will beat compressed air for that, but it will do a good job of dusting loose dust from your computer case and dust from fans. If you're debating between this and the DataVac ED500, this is the one to go with.
I've been blowing everything I can get my hands on, and I've been running around blowing everything I can get my hands on. Anyway, it's a well-made device that performs admirably. I'll save a lot of money by not using canned air, and it'll work just as well.
It was purchased for the purpose of cleaning my computer, its peripherals, and the area around my desk. In the middle of the winter, I no longer have to haul everything out to the garage air compressor. br>br>On the II setting, it blows so hard that I have to move my stuff out of the way or it will blow it off the desk. The air coming out of the side ports of the nozzles has caused a few objects to fly. When I blow on my mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX brown switches, it easily triggers key presses. br>br>Because the cord is so long, I can leave it plugged in and use it whenever I want. It's great to have such a long cord!br>br>The unit itself gets a little warm, but not excessively so. So yeah, my entire PC area is dust-free now, and I'm totally in love with this thing!br>br>As long as you don't leave it on for extended periods of time, it should be fine. br>br>So yeah, my entire PC area is dust-free now, and I'm totally in love with this thing! I'm thinking about using it to blow some leaves next fall.
Blow up your houses with the Duster. There are two options available. There are six attachments in total. There is only one filter (at the bottom of the page). This is a truly amazing machine. br>br>When you turn it on, make sure you have 1) a firm grip and 2) an attachment on the unit. I didn't realize I wasn't holding it securely and there was no attachment on it one time when I was starting it, and it flew out of my hands and fell. The unit was unharmed, but the dust in the area took a long journey (startling my dog). br>It was well worth the money, and I would purchase it again if the need arose. br>br>(Just keep in mind that you should clean the filter every two or three times you use it. ) (I clean it every time I use it. ).
