Questions & Answers
The DataVac draws in a large amount of air and then blows it into whatever you're cleaning. The filter removes dust and other debris, ensuring that contaminants are not blown into your expensive equipment. Although you can clean the filter in the unit by removing it and rinsing it, it's nice to be able to replace it every now and then.
It's "crumbling" away, isn't it? Odd. These filters have a sponge-like quality to them. What is the best way to clean a sponge? You wring out the water by rinsing it and squeezing it tightly in your hand. Give it a good shake, but don't dry it. It's more fun to use the duster. Oh, and if you're in need of a new filter, let us know. Go to Walmart and look for toolboxes, home lighting, and other items. For 98, you can get a filter for your air conditioner. All you have to do now is cut the circles yourself.
Hello, MVC- is the part number. 49ED. Thanks!
Hello, this isn't usually an issue. If this is a concern for you, I'd recommend the DataVac ED500-A. ESD. It includes tools for dissipating static electricity, a grounded power supply cord, and a wrist strap for grounding. br>That model is available for purchase, and it includes the three additional filters. Thanks!

This thing is completely insane, which is a good thing! I can't tell you how much better this is for cleaning electronics than canned air. It's the equivalent of turning on your house's leaf blower. It appeals to me. In a pinch, it's also useful for quickly drying clothes or hair. br>br>It's also useful for cleaning under the car seats, the dashboard, and the space between the seat and the console. I used it to clean under the furniture (we have hardwood floors) and it did a fantastic job. This also came with attachments for cleaning the crevices out of a keyboard. br>br>Unlike canned air, this does not contain nitrous oxide, so if you were using canned air for that, this is not a good replacement. Otherwise, this is a disaster (ha!). ) drew air from the water with a can.
I bought it to clean out my computer, thinking it would be more effective than compressed air cans. In the end, it performs better than the cans, but it still has a lot of flaws. br>br>The engine is quite powerful- You can feel the torque behind it as soon as you turn it on. Unfortunately, much of that power is wasted by blowing air out of every joint, gap, and screw hole rather than through the nozzle. br>br>When it comes to nozzles, the narrow-angle nozzle appears to be the only one that delivers a useful concentration of airflow. nozzle with a tapered tip The rest of the nozzles, hoses, and straws appear to be more for show than for use. br>br>Once you've discarded those and are only using the narrow nozzle, it produces a solid jet of air that is well-directed. PCs, keyboards, mice, and other electronics can all benefit from a thorough cleaning. Unfortunately, this is also when you begin to notice the device's other flaws: There was a strange smell, as well as a lot of noise. br>br>I'd say the sound is somewhere in the middle of a shop-like atmosphere and an industrial setting. Fortunately, I've stopped hearing it because continued use has rendered me completely deaf. br>br>After a few minutes of use, the unit generates a surprising amount of heat, which, while not affecting performance, is concerning given the close proximity of the hot metal to your knuckles. br>br>Even when turned off, the unit emits a strange machine odor that lingers in the room where it was used. If you enjoy working on cars and want your office to smell like one, this is the product for you. This is the unit for you if you have a clean garage. Overall, I can't say it hasn't helped with the dusting, but given its numerous flaws, it comes at a high price. I'm not sure I'd recommend it, but I've been using it on a daily basis and have found it to be satisfactory.
Consider it a leaf blower in miniature. This does not produce the same amount of force as compressed air. I really wanted to like it because I don't want to harm the environment by using canned compressed air, but it doesn't do what it says it does. On first glance, it appears to blow quite a lot of air. Is it true that once the attachments are in place, the blowing power is reduced? On my desk, I attempted to clean the most basic items. I didn't even try it on my computer because I knew it would only remove surface dust, and I'd still need to use compressed air for a thorough clean. Simply purchase an $80 can of compressed air. It 100% will perform better than this product.
Also, this small device is F**** LOUD! OH MY GOSH, IT'S SO LOUD. I'm going to take a decibel reading because I'm pretty sure it's the same as a leaf blower. This thing was so loud that I had to wear ear protection. IT'S EXTREMELY LOUD! It will also become extremely hot after only a minute of use. I'm not sure how that isn't considered a safety concern. I'm afraid this thing would catch fire or at the very least burn out if I had to use it to clean the insides of my computer. Because of how hot this thing gets, I'm sure you couldn't even touch it with your bare hands at some point. I don't mind if it's loud, but I believe it's worth mentioning. I was dissatisfied with the product's blowing power, especially given its high ratings. If all you want to do is clear debris from your desk, that's fine. A deep clean of any dusty electronic, on the other hand, would be extremely difficult. It gets extremely hot and is extremely loud.
I have a lot of dust in my room, which gets into my computer case, and this does an excellent job of blowing it away. Because the pressure is incredible, keep in mind that parts may bend if you purchase this. It won't dislodge caked-on dust that's been sitting there for a while, but the brush attachments that come with the duster can help with that; just be aware of the air pressure it generates. I use this at least once a week to clean my keyboard and PC of dust and cat hair, 100% recommended.
Since 1995, we've had a computer of some sort. Dust is a major enemy of a well-functioning PC, according to a Support Tech. I used to blow out my PC and our keyboard a couple of times a year with CANNED AIR, as well as my other electronics at the time. Canned air was becoming more expensive, so I was looking for a cheaper alternative last week when I came across this product, which seemed to be a WINNER, with GREAT AIR FLOW, PLENTY TO BLOW OUT THE COMPUTER, AND ALL THE ACCESSORIES AND THREE FILES INCLUDED. My only regret is that I did not purchase one many years ago. ADDITIONALLY, SOME OF US STILL BELIEVE THAT OUR COUNTRY IS THE BEST AND THAT THIS EXCELLENT TOOL WAS MADE IN THE UNITED STATES.
