Since CDs are now considered "out of style" and thumb drives are replacing them, I bought three of these 50 packs. They were a great deal for the price I paid- though I don't recall exactly how much I paid.

In the past, I have used Maxell CDs The company has been using Rs exclusively for over two decades. About a month ago, I went from having no failures to 75% failures. In the last month, I tried 3 different sellers, yet the discs failed the same way every time. I suspected I got a bad batch, but I tried 3 different sellers within the last month. I only got 1 out of 5 of the initial 5 that didn't fail in the most recent batch. In working professionally, I've noticed that the first 75 minutes of each disc record fine, but afterward they start In the past, I've always been able to fit more than 79 minutes of music on a disc without a We no longer use them. The name Maxell is not one that is trusted any longer. They are great for the first 75 minutes, but the majority of them will freeze or skip if recording music between 75 and 79 minutes.
There were no working CDs in the package. Each one of them was defective. My two drives were brand new (one was BRAND NEW - the other was BRAND NEW) The one on a PC is a few years old. Otherwise, it works fine) with more or less the same result. There is no difference between the types of files. No matter what source was used, it wasn't important. It was possible for some tracks to have static on them, but some just stopped after a song. I have to stress that NO ERRORS were encountered with the burning software. (I actually tried two different ones). Initially, I thought the software would be a lot easier to use (windows media player and BRAND NEW Roxio) so I threw them out, but I can't return them It was only a matter of time before the "next one" worked. The Junk.
My only reason for buying these was that I thought I was going to get the older versions. Among the 50 spindles I bought, 21 out of 25 couldn't be read in most of my devices because they were labeled max data. Since you can actually see through them now, they have obviously changed them. With the old version, I used hundreds of them without a problem.
BUY THESE CDS AT YOUR OWN RISK! It is not possible to burn music CDs with these discs I receive an error message every time I attempt to burn a CD saying it cannot be done because of the medium. Trying to burn a CD at a slower speed did not work. Occasionally, however, it would stop after it had traversed a few tracks. I have since tried another brand of CD and it worked fine, so I have determined that the problem does not lie CDs from any other brand have never presented this problem to me.
After Maxell's shoddy discs became evident, I gave them some time to fix their problem. Yes, I ordered 100 discs a month ago and I was amazed at their performance. My order for 400 more was recently placed. I am having problems with my duplicator because it claims all discs pass, but 3 out of every 5 make a static noise on playback From around the middle of the disc all the way to the final half of the disc, there is a "whirk, whirk, whirk" sound. All other CD brands work exactly as they should, so I don't think it's my duplicator. Three months ago I had the same issue. Waste of time! So far, I've thrown away 72 out of 100 books.
I find this very difficult since over the years Maxell has earned a lot of respect from me. The only thing that I tried to do was defend Maxell CDs by telling my wife that her computer and burner were malfunctioning because Maxell is high quality and wouldn't cause any problems. A 50 pack of discs that I burned music to did not play in my car CD player after the first four discs were burned. The only message I got was an ERROR. I started playing one disc, and then it stopped. A message appeared saying "Error". For good measure, I tried burning another disc to the same drive. In my wife's burner, it detected it as a "blank" disc and attempted to burn it once Despite this, our CD player could not play it. This is both frustrating and puzzling at the same time. Maxell used to be a dominant player in the recording industry, and their products were flawless. Among the best recording tapes on the market, their quality was unbeatable These can be reel to reel or cassette. My guess is that it's different for CDs. In the long run, Maxell failed to transfer their world-class "analog" standard to their "digital" product. That is something to be ashamed of and a The two 50 pack CDs have been returned The review had to be one star in order to be submitted. A pitiful sight.
It's been a long time since I used Maxell blank CDs. Despite a recent purchase of low quality, it turned out to be a bad decision. The CDs were dead for more than two thirds of them. The problem was even so bad that I bought a new burner, thinking that part There was then a possibility that there was an error with the software. In the end, the answer was to use a competitor's CD-burner, which made all of the My next purchase of Maxell CDs will be my last.
Those disks appear to be thicker than usual, which is what I think is causing the problem.
