Questions & Answers

Does this tape fit in the stereo of my car?

The size is identical to the cassette tapes I used to listen to in my car stereo, but I have not tried to fit it in one yet. Thank you very much for your help.

Would it be possible for me to record using a Sony recorder, model TCM-R4K ?

In fact, I am using it in a The app fails when it comes to music, but works well when it comes to

Type 1 is ferro tape, type 2 is chrome tape, or type 4 is metal tape?

ferro is excellent for speaking, probably good for music as long as you don't need cd quality. I have not tried Type 1 ferro for music, but they should work as long as you don't need it.

What do you think about these?

Is that clear? In other words, are you referring to the actual tape case? It is, as well as the outer cover, which does not include the paper used to write the name of the tape and the song title. It's been 40 years since I used cassettes, but it hasn't been much in the last 10 or 15 years, and these tapes are only If you could be more specific in your question, that would be helpful. You are in good hands.

This is such a great tape
5/5

It has long been my preference to use them, and I have always found them to be the best. My experience has been fairly good I have only found one defective tape per hundred. This brand of tape is recommended by me because I don't feel like it has been degraded like all the other brands over the past decade. They should continue to be made by the company. I tried every other brand, but none of them worked.

It was a mixed bag of results, sorry
3/5

Maxell UR- is the product reviewed in this review Ninety cassette tapes have been purchased, from which more than one multipack was purchased. It is true, the sound is often quite good, but there have also been instances where the sound is muffled early and uneven when playing back. The diagnosis is a bit trickier, but I believe it is the tapes playing a role, and not the deck. The reason is as follows. A fairly new tape deck (a nice dual cassette Teac) plays cassettes (dozen or so) that I recorded thirty years ago (normal bias Maxell and TDK tapes) without the slightest glitch or ghost. The recordings sound as dynamic as when they were There are no glitches at all! On the new tapes reviewed here, which were taped on my new deck (thus presumably enhanced compatibility should be a given), the sound often flutters or muffles during the first few minutes of playback (that muffled, fluttering effect). I was really let down. Although I love this cassette format, I believe it suffers from a lack of quality because it is not "state of the art" in the 21st century. Reviewers are impressed with these Maxell tapes, as they compare them to their ancestor Maxell tapes. There could be a problem with the tape, the mechanism, or both. We are sorry to inform you. As an avid cassette user, I am glad Maxell still offers cassettes, but I regret that the current product cannot match the unflinching reliability of their decades-old models. The cassettes of our ancestral ancestors. The old-fashioned way of doing things is no longer viable.

Tape that is blank
5/5

It's not uncommon for me to need a new blank cassette. It would probably be best to just delete the one I've recorded something to, as I don't need any more. Having to decide whether or not to keep a recording would be a step in the right direction. This way, you can grab a new tape more easily. As soon as I realized I was down to my last one, I became very sad. Hence, it was necessary to purchase You may not believe it, but there's a big game in town Sadly, these items are no longer available at the local box stores (or if they are, a couple clerks, including myself, couldn't locate There are still a lot of them on Amazon. My stash needed to be restocked, so I ordered two packages. I am guessing that will be sufficient to hold me for at least The fact that these might be the last cassette tapes I'll ever buy (since they may no longer be available in 2020) is a bit strange to me. Those Maxell UR-79s are exactly what I'm looking for The tapes number 90. With this brand, you can easily record 45 minutes on each side. I've been using it for years and it works well. Those tapes have lasted me for years, and I have yet to be disappointed by As a result of the case being completely clear, I will be able to see and read the cassette label clearly. It's not needed for me to record anything of studio quality, so I use 'every day' quality ones.

A good sound can be found in Maxell
5/5

These are really good tapes that stand out even after years of use
If you like regular use, these are good tapes
Type II chrome is better for a more accurate sound
If you want the richest sound, get Metal type tapes.

We are getting a great deal on this product
3/5

You should buy the best quality if you want it. We are getting a great deal on this product. Quality is a matter of price. If you want the best, you will have to pay the most. While the hiss sound is expected, the heavy to moderate bass gets recorded throughout, to the point that I hear the ghostly sound of backward play on the opposite side. I thought perhaps the subwoofer and bass settings while listening & playing contributed to the ghost sound. It may have contributed to the vibration if the recording was not clear. My subwoofer is turned off, and my bass setting is zero, so there was no subwoofer in the recording. It still rings in my head. In the pause between songs, I'm able to notice it quite clearly. The tape is of fair quality, but when measured against a chromium oxide tape or other metal tapes with high bias, the price makes perfect sense.

I'm glad Maxell ur CASSETTES have been received well
5/5

Recording music with these cassettes has been a part of my life for many They have been cited as not being suitable for this purpose in some reviews, but I have never found that to be the case. I've used them for similar work before and they are as good as anyone else I've hired. I do notice a certain amount of sound hiss with the Maxells, but it isn't any more pronounced in comparison to any other kind of tape. Future purchases will no doubt be made by me as well.

These technologies seem to be working effectively
5/5

I have been very pleased with them so far. It is not yet possible to rate the sound because I have not played them back, but it seems that they are functioning well in the tape recorder (I have been recording from an old tape). The tapes were fashioned from stereo recordings). It's because I don't always have access to the equipment so I don't always have complete information, but everything seems to be fine.

AN ELECTRICAL MESS OCCURS IN A BATCH OF BLANK BOXES WHEN THE FEED TAPE JAGS THE ROLLER ON THE LEFT SIDE AND BLOCKS IT
3/5

This is terrible. The tape reels have all failed so far - that's 4 of 6 reels A snag occurs when the tape jumps over the roller on the feed side While I would have liked to contact the seller or Amazon, the return "window" closed, so it would appear that despite the fact that the tapes started going bad after a few weeks, I have little recourse other than to advise people not to buy the It's been a decade since I had tapes It is inacceptable to wait a couple of months.
