It sounds like you have to purchase a Bluetooth dongle to use these on your PC, unless it has built-in Bluetooth
The situation is the same for both of us. only been using them for less than 3 weeks and they don't seem to be working. It says there is an update, but I don't have a pc or a mac, so I guess it's going back to the manufacturer.
Selected User Reviews For Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 Premium Wireless Gaming Headset for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S
I've owned Gen 1 Stealth 700s and 600s, and the quality of the Gen 2 headsets is far superior. You need to put on your earphones to hear There is no comparison to the comfort of cups. As soon as I picked it up I realized that it was much more robust and similar to an Arctis Pro (which I With the Turtle Beach, I have not experienced any issues with connectivity and have had the fewest issues with the headset. Turtle Beach has definitely stepped up their game Here's an update It now appears that the app is functioning correctly and you can set up your mic monitoring preferences! There's nothing to worry about!.
I don't notice the cooling gel pads as my ears can get warm, but that's not really a problem with how snug they fit to eliminate outside noise. There are 14 ounces in weight, so they feel beefy, but are not so heavy on your head that you feel like you have to wear them constantly. After spending hours gaming and barely remembering they are on, I have yet to notice It is amazing how good the sound is! It was amazing how powerful the bass that I heard through it was when paired to my phone and playing music. There is a lot of audio in games and you can really hear the footsteps and hear where they come App, so I noticed a lot of people mention you can't connect your headset to it. If you want to pair the headset to the app, however, you must attach it to the This can be accomplished by opening the app and letting it start searching, then hitting the Bluetooth button on the headset so that it says "Bluetooth on" and the app will automatically find the headset! The Bluetooth button on your phone will allow you to find and pair with the headset, so all you have to do is hold the button down and your phone will find and pair with the headset. Besides being able to customize what the buttons do, you can also adjust the volume and settings of your chat very easily. It is also easy to update the firmware, which is great as new features and bug fixes can be added quickly and easily. It is my sincerest recommendation to purchase the 700 series because I am EXTREMLY satisfied with it. There will be no disappointment for you.
Having previously owned Astro A40s, Plantronics RIGs, Clouds, and a few others, I find these to be superior just in terms of features. You can hear the Xbox game audio as well as the mix amp on your phone. The wheel mapping and button mapping are awesome, and if you're browsing your phone between matches, you can listen to the Xbox game audio as well. If you have glasses and have a HOT head like me, these earcups are perfect for you. They are some of the most comfortable I have ever used. It's no surprise that they sound great, I expect no less from turtlebeach and the all black looks just perfect! could go on and on about how fantastic these are and how well worth the $50 price over the 600s turtle beach is definitely back on top with these I cannot I gave you a 10/10, it was nearly flawless!.
Seeing these were coming out, I decided to check them out since my Turtle Beach AX420s were getting a little worn. One of my friends has a 700s of the first generation with random cracking and audio distortion and thought a 700s of the second generation would solve the problem. I'm not interested! As soon as I got them out of the box, I had to comment on how comfortable they are It is very soft, sinking right into your skin and I connected them to XBox and started playing right away. Mic issues are the first thing you have to deal with. Generally, everyone in party chat told me that if I talk louder than a whisper, the audio will be distorted and I won't be able to hear you. Adjusted the boom so that it is positioned right before the automatic waypoint If I ever mute the speaker or talk normally, the cut outs take place, but anything louder than that causes the same issues because it is too loud This is stimulating. As we moved past the microphone, it became clear that there was something about this series that made it easy for outside wireless devices to interfere. Xbox and my router are over 10 feet apart, and my chair is a considerable distance away from my router. There was intermittent audio distortion (cracking and popping) that ruined the sound from the party chat and game at the same time. My buddy told me that Turtle Beach Customer Support told him to move the router further away and try it again, just like they used to tell me with the old series. There should be no need for anyone to pay so much for a headset they have to rearrange their house in order to use it. 2 days later, returned to the hotel.
A mix app is supposed to be built into the stealth 700 gen 2 in order to fix the audio. It is not possible to connect this app to headsets at all. It would not be such a problem if it didn't have to be the ONLY way to bypass You can check out too many negative reviews for the app Turtle Beach Audio Hub by going here. How does this become the only way to change the unambiguous "super human hearing" setting (the default)? Due to this, all the bass and surround effects from the equalizer are removed, leaving a very high treble My experience is that I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application, clearing the cache, clearing the data, and many more options, but nothing works to connect these headsets to the application. In the setting on the Bluetooth settings on my phone, I can see it, but the app doesn't know it's there? It is outrageous to pay $150 for a pair of newly redesigned headsets from one of the major It's been so long since you fixed this app, TB, what is taking you so long? How come we aren't able to just click on the mode button and change our options? Have these been subjected to any quality assurance checks before being sent In the event that TB support cannot assist me on Monday I will be returning these. That's another thing too when I enter my serial number into the TB support site to get in touch with me, it says that the number This is the right password as I have entered it numerous times as it won't let me submit a support ticket unless it is validated. How about fixing your support site as well? You guys really need to fix this! It feels like TB is trying to prevent you from asking them questions, since they are unable to answer them. If you're considering buying these terribly designed headset/app combos, you should buy something else.
