Questions & Answers

Is it actually possible to create multipoint connection on it? Does it connect to a desk phone and to a Mac and a toggle switch?

I have it hooked up to my computer, cell phone, and desk phone, so I believe this is in error. During working hours, I usually only disconnect it from one of them since the limit is indeed two (normally my cell phone). I can use it with my PC and desk phone since it is Bluetooth, so I don't need to disconnect if I'm listening to music when I'm on a call. As soon as it switches, it switches. With no problem, I can also connect to my deskphone bluetooth and my cell phone bluetooth at the same time.

Wireless headsets can be used while they are charging, right?

In fact, it charges while it is in the stand. I quit the day before it quits me, and I listen to music (8 to 10 hours per day). For the office or home office, this is an excellent product.

When you turn it on or off, do the buttons audibly tell you when it is on or off mute? Every time you're on a conference call, does it interrupt you to tell you?

A headset can answer the call many times on mute, as is mentioned in the answer below. The headset will not fit over your ear if you do not have it on. In the event that the headset is not properly connected, it is muted automatically. A very intuitive device, as if it recognizes when you are removing it from the phone and mutes it.

Can this headset be used with a cell phone?

Thank you for your kind words. For my wife as a replacement for her Plantronics Savi Dect 6, I purchased these headsets. It's really enjoyable for her to see the Voyager set in higher quality versus When used as a headset, the Voyager Focus headphones deliver an excellent experience.

Although I tried to like it, too many critical flaws prevented me from doing so
3/5

There was a lot of effort put into liking Even though it was more expensive than what I was looking for, it was the right headset I needed for frequent work calls, a headset with a mute button so when I was in a rush I could easily raise my voice to be heard. On my Macbook I use Skype and Hangouts, and the first thing I learned is that the mute button in Skype will not work with Immediately after turning on mute, the function turns it off again. I contacted support and they confirmed that some apps do not Then what? I prefer a hardware mute that is independent of any particular application. According to support, the dongle must be used. Ok, but I still feel ugh. Since I have been using the headset with the dongle for a couple weeks, I can confirm that it is pretty comfortable, but it seems to be unusable. As you can see, we have a problem 1) My coworkers constantly complain that I sound like it drops out, or "cyloning," as we call it at work. It is important that the headset has good sound quality. *2) The dongle enabled it to mute in Skype or Hangouts, but ONLY if the headset was connected to the computer BEFORE the call. In this case, the call will not mute, but instead say "Open Mic On" if no connection can be established before it begins. How does that feature ever serve a purpose? The stupid behavior is beyond comprehension. I always think hardware mutes should be used. It has a reason if I need to be muted. In order to make a backup I need to have faith that I can do it In some channels, I cannot leave a comment without it being overheard. 3) When I receive chat message notifications from certain apps (such as Slack or Skype "dings"), the headset volume control appears on screen as if I had adjusted it with the dial. When the headset is on, the dongle reports that the audio device is always available. As a result, if you want to hear message notifications from the computer, you will either need to wear a headset or unplug the dongle (of manually adjust the preferred output device, which is frankly In the audio driver, if the headset is disconnected (turned off), then it should show it is disconnected. In this case, the computer would have the option of switching to the next preferred device (normal speakers in my case), and I would be able to Does it really matter if the device is not connected if it shows that the device is It was a simple design choice, but the wrong one. In fact, I tried my level best to enjoy them. It has a high level of quality hardware. It is effective to cancel out the noise. I like how comfortable they are. In addition to being quite portable, they are also quite sturdy. There is just no good audio quality provided by them, and the software made some poor decisions in behavior making it unuseable, so they are returning mine.

This is a good product, but it is fragile and can break
3/5

I updated it on July 13th, 2018. In the end, I gave up after three months of taping, gluing, and splinting. It's great headphones, but the microphone and left ear speaker seem to come off more frequently than it appears to work, so I'm purchasing a different headset (not Plantronics) that should work better. You need to treat these like fine crystal, as they will snap apart if there is even a slight twist. During our testing, the product worked With the headset, you can automatically answer the phone when you put it on, and when you walk away from the unit, you can answer the phone with the handset. It delivers excellent sound quality, and it is a very long range system. I have never had a problem with not being able to hear during conversations in It is the leather ear cushions that provide the most comfort, but if you are in a warm environment they can get quite warm. Their design flaw is that they tend to collapse very easily. I was unable to use the headset for more than a month after a gentle tug during a pickup snapped the microphone side from the headband. Glued and taped together, it is now working, but I am disappointed by how fragile this product It is highly recommended to use the headset carefully and treat it like a delicate item if you decide to purchase this item.

I have never experienced a headset like this before! The office I work in is a home office where I am on client calls at least 8 hours a day (one client an I have had headphones in the past that hurt my ears or wouldn't stay on my head because of my large hair or had low battery life and the sound quality was almost never good
5/5

My hair is quite long, which makes it difficult for me to put these headsets on, but they sound great, do not squash my ears and are incredibly noise-isolating. And to top it all With a wireless USB, you can move away from the device for up to 35 feet and the sound quality will not be affected. It is a little pricey, but I am over the moon with this product! Don't miss it!.
