With an old twist tie wrapped around the wires, it was packaged without any attempt to make it look new. But if it worked, I wouldn't have given it a second thought. It was light and comfortable to wear on my head. When I tried to listen through the speaker, however, I heard a scratchy noise. And the person on the other end of the line said his microphone was making a scratchy noise as well. I was extremely disappointed.

The headset is extremely comfortable, the controls are sturdy, and the sound quality (both microphone and earpiece) is excellent. I wish I hadn't scrimped and squandered my time on that low-quality garbage. One note: The driver (for Windows 7) takes a long time to load the first time you plug in the headset, so be patient. br>br>I'm only perplexed by one thing: When the wire is clearly red, why is this headset called 'Blackwire'?.

It's difficult to choose. I'm a libra, so please just give me two or three options. Well, I'm confident in my Plantronics experience, but I'm not sure how much I want to spend. For working from home, I determined that $50 was a good investment. I like that only one ear is covered in this style. Oh, and unlike the last one I owned, the mouthpiece doesn't press against my lips, which is fantastic. There is no distortion in sound. The headset is very comfortable to wear. It connects to my docking station's USB port. Customer is pleased.

While the sound quality was excellent, the cord was not coiled and was sprawled limply and inconveniently across my desk. I put on and take off my headset several times per day, and managing this cord takes extra effort and time. The cord's control button was awkwardly placed at elbow length away from the headset, which I had to use because it overrode the phone's buttons. There isn't a clip to help you better position it. Also, it's an ugly orange color. Given to co-workers worker who does not use a headset on a regular basis.

I like the small headset because I'm on camera and don't want to look like a complete dork when I'm talking. Because I live in a city with dogs, machines, and sirens, I bought this to filter out background noise on calls. So far, it's worked well.

This was purchased to be used primarily with my PC for Microsoft Teams and WebEx calls. That is exactly what it is for. However, I used a USB type A to C adapter to connect it to my phone in order to test it. The call quality was much better than my Galaxy S20's native microphone, according to the person on the other end of the line. As a result, the call quality is excellent. I also appreciate being able to mute/unmute without having to return to teams/webex on my PC. The controls are located on the cable itself. Furthermore, the cable is sufficiently long. That also means I won't forget to charge it, as I have done with other headsets in the past. As a result, I'm extremely pleased with my decision.

This is my own fault for not realizing before ordering, but please be aware that this headset only has a USB connector and no headphone jack. br> The remote portion of my original headset has a headphone jack, which you can plug into (or replace entirely with a USB version). ) You can use this as a computer Skype headset, but if you want to use it with your phone, you'll need one with a headphone jack (or a USB converter if one is available).

(Windows 10) I went through every tutorial I could find. The echo was present even when I turned down the volume to the lowest level at which I could still hear anything. The quick guide that came with the device is completely ineffective. br>br>The size adjustment is just big enough to fit my extra-large head. They appear to be well-made. br>br> I'll return them. br>br>.
