Great comfort
5/5

In my office, I use the Plantronics Voyager Focus, which is a high-end cordless Bluetooth headset with excellent comfort and active noise cancellation, but it is pricey. Now that I work from home, I purchased the Plantronics Blackwire 5220 corded headset after purchasing the more basic Plantronics Blackwire C3225 about three months ago. While the Blackwire C3225 is a good choice for sound and environmental noise reduction, it lacks the comfort needed for long virtual meetings. This issue is solved by the slightly more expensive Blackwire 5220. The comfort and fit are almost identical to the Voyager Focus, which I used as a benchmark. I've been on three different phone calls in the last three weeks. 4 hours without experiencing pressure points in the ears or on the head The sound quality is excellent, and the environmental noise reduction is more than adequate for the home. Other family members are conversing in the background in the office. br>If you don't require the mobility of a wireless headset (for example, to get a cup of coffee from the kitchen while on the phone), the Blackwire 5220 is a great option at a reasonable price.
Note: When you wear a headset with active noise cancellation, it reduces the amount of noise you hear from your surroundings. 'Environmental noise reduction' reduces the amount of background noise heard by the other party in the call.

For both work and play, this is the best option
5/5

I've spent decades working as a technology consultant, which means I'm on the phone for hours on end every day, and I've gone through countless phones, headsets, ear buds, and headphones making calls with clients, listening to music while working, and playing games after work. When I first started working at my current company in 2005, I was given a Plantronics headset. At my desk, I also have a Logitech wireless headset, several Sennheiser headphones for audio work, a cheap Sades gaming headset, AirPods for my iPhone, a Bose wireless Bluetooth headset, and a large collection of EarPods for when my AirPods die, which happens all the time. This Plantronics Blackwire USB headset is by far my favorite out of all of them. br>br>Lightweight, breathable, and durable. High-definition audio, a positional microphone, plug-and-play functionality, solid compatibility with Windows 10 Pro and my Surface laptop, and a well-designed user interface made muting and volume command buttons, analog jack for use with phones, works great when my Surface is on battery, easy to use all day, doesn't require charging br>br>Works well with Zoom, Teams, Spotify, and pretty much any other app that supports headphones. I'm very pleased with this headset, and I'm sure you will be as well.

Windows 10, Citrix Xen Desktop, Skype, MS Teams, and Zoom are all compatible
5/5

I bought these to replace an older single ear set that was past its prime. These are running on an HP Elite Book 840 running Windows 10 Pro, build 2004 and Office 365. They work very well with Citrix Workspace 1911 for Xen Desktop connections with the HDX Real Time Media Engine 2. They were visible right away with no special configuration required. Using Skype, Teams, and Zoom, there are nine people in total. This is a quality item.

It works
4/5

The headset is in perfect working order. The reason I gave it a four star rating is because I expected it to be the best of the best for the price, but in reality, the noise canceling might work just as well as, if not better than, my $20 headset. My ear is emitting a sound. My $20 headset sounds just as good as the cup. What I'm trying to say is that I spent all this extra money for it to only perform as well as my $20 headset, which I don't think is very justified. Is the construction now of higher quality? Without a doubt. More appears to be the case. You will spend less. It also has a more-than-normal feel to it. You will spend less. However, the noise canceling mic and speaker performs just as well as my $20 headset, which is a little disappointing. Is it something I would purchase again? At this point, I'm not so sure.

It's ideal for making business calls over the internet
5/5

For my Skype business calls at work, I purchased this headset. They've improved my ability to hear everything said on conference calls as well as ensuring that I'm heard clearly on calls I'm in charge of. br>br>Without them, I wouldn't be able to conduct online conferences. br>br>I also like the handy storage bag and how the headphones fold up for easy transport in my laptop bag. br>br>I've told my coworkers and staff about them.

This is an excellent purchase
4/5

For Skype, this is ideal. Amazon or the seller might have taken down my original review of this product. Because the product did not arrive in its original packaging, I was concerned about the level of hygiene and sanitation. After I posted my review, the seller contacted me and explained that, while my product was brand new and had never been used, it was part of a larger bulk order, which is why there was no "typical" secondary packaging. br>After three days of testing, I can say that this product is ideal for Skype calls. It's lightweight and flexible, making it ideal for long-term wear. Skype provides a seamless and simple connection and functionality. Because my husband and I both work from home, I have both a conference call speaker and this headset. When you're in a shared space, this is an excellent way to join calls.

Out of the box, the product is defective
3/5

This headset was something I was really hoping would work. The wire has a mute feature (along with volume control), and the headset was broadcasting "mute on, mute on, mute on" in rapid-fire mode during my first three calls without pressing the button. a series of fires I found that the ear piece heated up your ear to an uncomfortable level in the short time I used it. If you wear a headset for several hours a day, this is not a good thing. Every time I spoke, I could hear a faint hissing sound, but this was only temporary due to the constant mute on messages that would come on. In the meantime, I called a coworker. worker couldn't hear the mute on broadcast, and despite the fact that the mute feature was turned on, it had no effect on the receiver's end. br>br>Unfortunately, Plantronics does not appear to be producing high-quality products in the same way that they once did. I recently bought two sets of Backbeat Fit headsets as gifts for friends, and both of them were useless right out of the box.
