You need to get rid of this router immediately! I guess it was not as fast as the other routers and it was not an upgrade. There are no really fast speeds and unless you are a computer expert, this unit will be a huge After trying for over 3 months to get this router to work as advertised, I have finally given up. One week later, I was once again unable to operate this router, as it went back to extremely slow speeds. There is no need to contact support, as it was a total waste of time. My efforts to fix it and tweak it have just end up making it more and more frustrating. I was not able to plug and play with this router. My guess is that even an experienced user will not be able to get this thing to work efficiently. I would advise you to stay away If you do the same thing as I did, you'll send the purchases back or you'll regret them too.
The product did not live up to its advertised hype. I agree in whole with 2 or more reviews that say this product didn't live up to what it claimed. In fairness, I purchased the product NEW, but could it remain a random problem? No, that still does not pass the test for what it claims to be about. There is a problem with my This is Link's AX6000 and it performs When I saw the Tri-pack, I thought I should upgrade It has a faster band and more speed with the AX11000, but I'm really let down by it. 2 is the number I have. I have 4ghz cams at home that the AX6000 did not encounter an issue for them or other devices, but the AX11000 seems to have frequent intermittent issues. I have tried each possible setting and still nothing works. Despite the fact that Support Chat was attempting to assist me with this issue, with the experience I had with routers over the years and the last 2 I used, I felt this was a waste of time in trying to resolve a problem that shouldn't exist. My experience shows the AX6000 is faster, has greater accuracy, and has a bigger bandwidth. For me, the AX6000 outperformed the AX11000 in connection speeds, frequency consistency, and hardwire port speed constancy, as well as To me, it seems that something terribly wrong is going on here, seeing how much more the AX11000 costs over the AX6000. My expectation was to receive an upgrade with the same company's products, but instead I received an upgrade. 900 Mbps is what I get from my desktop PC I was able to get 950mbs using the AX6000 and the AX11000 at 700mbs on the same PC. The universe works in mysterious ways! Although I hate the idea of having to write such a negative review, honestly I thought and hoped I was getting a semi- positive Despite superior routing product, it failed to live up to expectations. The Power Plant- I may stay with the AX6000, but I do like Tri-Link's IP camera. I really need Link to revisit this product and figure out what's wrong with these issues. Types of routers that use bands.
In addition to this, my son also learns remotely. Even though I tried my best, I was unable to block YouTube from my Xfinity network regardless of A lot of frustration resulted from this. As for parental controls, Xfinity falls short of the AX11000 and offers even better options for controlling your internet in your home. This includes blocking any website you want (including YouTube! I regret not spending more money sooner and splurging on it. I haven't been able to rate this beast high enough.
My experience with the product has been all good, not as bad as a few others I saw. It used to be trash internet over the house, especially across the house. However, I had my PC surfing online across the house on WIFI (which is something I rarely do) and I had a 25 ping while not the same as As for the router, it works great and there have been no issues, and I recommend it to all those trying to improve their internet speeds.
It was my first time using this router, and I was very happy with it, at first. I had no problem setting up and configuring it. As a side benefit, it also resolved the dropped packet issue. Our printing issues began after a few days, because of a flaw in the firewall software. A printer will suddenly fail to print because the firewall software will randomly block all printing traffic. This cannot be corrected without restarting the router, and it will occur again at one point or another. After trying to contact support for the router, I was told that it couldn't be our problem and it had to do with the printer, although this issue occurred Eventually, they decided to offer Port Forwarding as a solution. Instead of putting yourself through the hassle of changing routers, look for another one.
As a result of resetting my internet provider's router, my wireless internet connection is not working Every day, you should drink water at least 20 times. I hooked this up two months ago and I haven't noticed a single drop in service since then. I was amazed at how fast the internet worked and how good the reception was.
