Also, I did buy a new modem, and I still had the same problem. My complaint about Netgear lately is that it has fallen flat on its face. After going through two routers and still having issues, I went back to my original 7500 series nighthawk and have no issues. I'm thinking about buying satellites for the same reason. It could be a dud, but the reviews for routers these days are not good. My hope is that they will make quality products Who knows, it might turn out to be a dud?.
