There is no such thing as a warranty. Get a coax connector from your cable provider or electronics store because it has a coax connection point.
It says it does from the manufacturer. The only way I can tell is by asking. The Xfinity one does not work as well as this one.
It is pretty strong when it comes to the signal strength. There is greater range on the 5Ghz band than on the I've owned 4 of these, but they are both better than most other products I've used. The size of my home is similar to yours.
Selected User Reviews For NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem Router – (C6900) (Renewed)
The decision to upgrade was finally made. My choice of the nighthawk came after quite a bit of debate. The choice was made due to limited funds and a tendency to take chances. When I clicked on the one with the USB port, I assumed I had purchased the right one, since I wanted to connect our old printer. The first time I heard this, I was disappointed. There is a lot more room on this router than our old one. In addition to the Motorola modem, ours was also small. It grabbed my attention, but I decided to give it a try anyway. I really don't know what to say! That's the first time I've heard of us streaming with Morse code! Our house is large enough for me to walk outside the house, around the yard, into the basement, or into It's a full signal!
Well, let's see. Among the cons are Quite a bit. Since it was designed to be vertical, you can't insert it in any other orientation. The only issue is that (this one) does not have a USB port. *Benefits seems like it would be a good match. The signal strength was absolutely brutal. Setting up the system is easy. With the refurbishment, it is an affordable option! Boxed up professionally with all papers and accessories included. The equipment is clean, packaged and brand new with no residue. The purchase was a big success for me.
I have Comcast cable 300Mbps, so I get about 375 Mbps with this device. At times, it can reach a peak of 450. Setting up the router was easy and the user interface was straightforward. I've used a Netgear router before and everything works as expected. Despite being a refurbished unit, it arrived in a nondescript brown box and was not original packaging, but it appears to be in like-new condition. It is inconsistent reliability of signal strength at the ends of my house that is causing me difficulty. Every day I experience dropouts with my AppleTV when I'm connected to WiFi. There is no difference if I use version 2 or 3. There are two types of 5G 4G and The device is located on the 2nd floor of a 2000 square foot home (walls made of normal drywall with no insulation in the interior). precious, uber-expensive modem router, which I rented from Comcast, did the same thing. However, it did it once every few days (not 24 hours a day) without any problems. Interestingly, my previous Netgear AC1200 didn't have many dropouts (there was a lot of buffering at slow speeds and multiple users)! With the airport express app, I did a signal strength check on my iPhone, and it showed that I had weak signal strength. An area next to the router/modem should be 30db, and a separate area should be -30db There is a 50db sound at the Apple TV. In terms of HD streaming, this is about half the reliability of 4K HDR, and probably too weak for HDR in 4K. I would like to see the antennas be a bit stronger, so I may need to revert to a powerline network solution for The dropouts actually happen even when I am using WiFi downstairs with my iPhone 12pro max, so I know it is not just a weak signal in the AppleTV receiver. It is nice to have a built in splitter for four connections, as the dual ports or single ports in similar devices are a bit I have excellent wired Internet speeds to my desktop gaming rig (350mbs download / 22mbs am aware that my connection can only handle a limited upload speed.
Most things that have to do with networking and I do not require me to be a techy. My head will be covered by a bird. In any case, I always read that using a modem other than one supplied by the ISP could potentially boost internet/WIFI performance, and I was not happy with the performance in our house, so I decided to try it. It takes NO TIME AT ALL to set it up. In this case, all I had to do was call my Internet provider to have the modem activated from their end. WIFI and ethernet (powerline) both do a much better job at delivering internet speed. This is a great product, especially for you if you're like me and are hesitant to make a change because you are.
I have no problems with my modem or router. Zoom Video Meetings run smoothly at consistent speeds with this modem when I have WOW 200mbps service. In the past, I had the Netgear CG3000D and it provided the speed of 200 Mbps, but it was unstable. There were times when it would have a couple of seconds of freezing. There was a problem with your modem router, but this fixed it. Review of WiFi 2 is not possible for me. Due to the fact that I turned off the antennas for the 4ghz and 5ghz portions, the connectivity is not there. There are two TP Link EAP115 located in front and back of the house connected to this device, and they both transmit reliable wifi signals. With the access points set up, we can host three Zoom meetings at the same time, and a fourth via a connecting computer with 200Mbps service and not have any issues with laptop or desktop freezing. Regardless of what you throw at it, this device can handle The device normally has 17 devices connected in total, including 4 Amazon sticks, raspberry pis, laptops, tablets, phones, etc. Did not come in the original packaging, but everything appears to be new and works well. If you are using Cat 5e cables, then you need to make sure that they are in good condition. Cat5e cables I bought from Ebay were cheap but only transmitted 60-70 Mbps There is a speed of 100mbps. Be sure to test your cables and make sure that they will work even if they say they will be able to handle 1,000Mbps or 10,000Mbps. For newbies (For those new to this Not just a modem and network switch will do when you want to connect to multiple devices. A modem and router is what you'll need. Having multiple devices connect via the modem does not allow IP addresses to be assigned. This router is a good modem router for those who want a router.
Compared to my old ISP's modem and budget router, this is more than I could have ever imagined. I couldn't tell you it was "Renewed" and not brand new, so it was worth the money.
To replace the Arrid I had leased from Xfinity, I purchased it from Amazon refurbished for $99 in the United States. Signal strength was stronger and the rate of transmission seemed Since I didn't use my WiFi extenders, I didn't have to use them after all. As a feature Both are similar in this regard. This modem has built-in wifi, so it's a wireless modem and wireless router There was a possibility of adding a battery backup to this one. Whenever I lose power, I am still able to go on the internet and make a call. I was amazed to have accessed 455. Although the internet download speed varies, I did manage to access There is a 3 Mbps throughput. Xfinity Arris was 346 when it first launched. This is a 9 Mbps connection.
While I was working from home during the 2020 quarantine with bad internet, it hindered my day-to-day work with video calls to an entirely unacceptable level. My frustration finally grew to the point where I got off my ass and did something about it, but it turned out the better rated routers were much more expensive. The fact that this was a refurbished version for a much more reasonable cost and with the quality guarantee from Amazon was fantastic news to me. The item appeared to be brand new, and the original packaging was included. In about six weeks, I've gone from 25 mbps to 125 Mbps, and I am surprised at how thrilled I am. I would highly recommend it.
