**Edit** The seller tried to make things right by reaching out. I got a refund because I bought another pad early and they would have sent me another free of charge. The fan had no screws in it when it was shipped so I'll never know how it works. Images demonstrate 1 fan screwed to the grill and 1 fan just floating around with no screws and hanging from what appears to be wires. Not even sure if I could get inside to even attempt to screw it together, if I had screws that could get into the grill.

The battery on my current laptop was good for just about a year, but the fan on my old tablet lasted a good 5 or 6 years. I initially thought it would take around 24 hours to arrive, but it arrived in less than 24 hours over the holiday weekend. It has a dual USB port, so it's not taking up much space, but another user complained that it sticks out slightly. In general, I think the fans do the job. It is a little noisy, but not outrageous, and I want to be able turn off the light, but it is a good deal quieter than the air conditioning system.

The only thing I disliked about the design was that my laptop slid around a lot on it, but I fixed that by affixing chair gripper stickers to it, and it holds the laptop in place much better than it did before. Aside from having tiny stands, like under keyboards, the bottom of the device is also blocked by small obstacles, which makes airflow ineffective, especially if the device is in a sleeping position. The cooler stand is not the one I wanted, I wanted the one that has air vents along the sides so there is airflow while the laptop is resting flush on the desk or bed, a higher stand, but returning this one I have to pay shipping charges of close to $10. I also have three. I'll keep this simple for you. The one I bought was meant to be a test. I like it a lot. The fan is quite quiet, but the laptop is quite cool. You've done a great job. Added another one to the collection. The same thing still exists. I like the fact that it cools my old work computer quite well. Added another one to the collection.
