No instructions are included with the battery to tell the user how to charge it efficiently so that your battery lasts the longest. Following a second full charge, I get 3 hours, 7 minutes of battery life. As intended, it took less than 4 hours - thought it would take over 4 hours. I just didn't think it would take so long.
I believe that this battery fit perfectly, was of good color/surface matching, and was easy to install. Some aftermarket batteries have problems with dimensioning that may make installation challenging, but this one fit right in and stayed in place as described. As well as the color, the texture of the surface is perfect for my laptop. However, unless I know how well the rechargeable cells hold up to charging and discharging cycles, it is hard to confirm the quality of each individual cell, but so far the laptop run time is excellent on a fully charged battery so I am satisfied.
The battery I received today is to replace a 9 year old battery that still works but only lasts an hour or so. After charging the new battery until it was 100% and said it would last up to 4 hours, I disconnected the charging cable from the PC. A quick reboot of the laptop required plugging back in the power cable to get the laptop back up and running. Despite still stating that the battery is at 100%, the PC does not power on. The garbage.
My HP battery was critically low. I needed a new battery immediately. There was a requirement that the computer must be plugged in to run. Once you pulled out the plug, the computer would turn off immediately. There was no charge in the battery. A good replacement was found for this. Though it does not 'click' in as well as the original battery, the battery still holds its place. When I run on battery alone, I have about 2 hours of battery life. I have so far had no problems. This purchase has been a great experience.
I got it for my specific laptop, so it fits perfectly in it. The first thing I had to notice was that the plug was unplugged when I received the device. on and fully charged, and I do not have a charger attached to the laptop, the laptop lasts 6 hours and 30 minutes while I'm not doing online work. While I'm streaming videos on my laptop, my laptop stays on for 3 hours and 30 minutes even when the battery is ON and fully charged, but there is no charger plugged in.
