This battery was purchased to replace the one that came with my HP Pavilon 15" laptop. The previous one lasted only about a year and a half. This battery pack fits snugly inside my laptop and appears to last a long time between charges. I get about 3 hours of use from one full charge, based on my preliminary testing in the first few days of using this battery. This battery pack comes close to the OEM battery pack that came with the machine, which lasted about 4 hours. More importantly, I'm supposed to get a warning when power is running low, approximately at 20%. My most recent replacement stopped doing that and would just stop working altogether, potentially causing the user to lose their job. This is extremely aggravating: To avoid these unanticipated losses, I had to rely on house power all of the time. At 18%, this new Ninja Battery provides proper warning of low power. So far, everything seems to be going swimmingly. Of course, a few days of use may or may not be a good predictor of performance one (or more) years down the road. I'm hoping for a strong showing that goes above and beyond the 1-star rating. the end of the year The only way to know is to wait.
This battery is totally worthless because it will only charge up to 6% right now. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> Battery life is poor. After only 5 months, it has degraded to 79% charge capacity (and is degrading rapidly). This is completely unacceptable. br>br>Original post: This is my 2015 HP Pavilion laptop's third replacement battery. The battery from the original manufacturer lasted for three years. The first replacement (made by Nocci) lasted only one year. 1 and a half years The second replacement (made by Bull-Eye) was installed. It lasted just over a year in terms of technology - a year and a half This NinjaBatt is the one I'm going with right now. br>br>This NinjaBatt fit the bill perfectly. There were no problems with the installation. The product arrived in excellent condition. Came fully charged and arrived at 100% within 15 minutes. The charge is holding up well. Let's get started. I'll be satisfied if I can get another 18 months out of it.
Battery is of good quality. My old HP battery had the same lifespan as this one. It was only 40 to 50 minutes long at first. It started lasting close to 2 hours after fully charging and discharging 3 to 4 times, which is standard for a rechargeable battery. I wasn't expecting such a drastic change after experiencing it in a small way with smaller batteries, and I was on the verge of returning it. The charge improved after a few uses, and I was satisfied with the results. This is something I strongly suggest. However, I have no idea how long it will last.
This is a great battery to replace the one that came with my HP Pavilion laptop. In contrast to some of the negative reviews, I had no issues with the battery. There are no issues with fit, charging, or battery life, for example. It charges quickly and lasts for three days. After the initial charge, the battery lasts for 4 hours. The price is excellent, and the product comes with a one-year warranty.
This battery's performance has been disappointing to me. My laptop's battery, which is almost three years old, still lasts more than two hours before it needs to be charged. When it was new, it could last up to four hours. br>br>I purchased this new battery as a replacement and backup for times when I need more than two hours without being able to plug in and expected it to perform similarly to the old one when it was newer. I didn't expect it to be any better, and it might even be a little worse, but it should be better than the old one, which is clearly in need of replacement. br>br>After using this new battery exclusively for a month, it's clear that it significantly underperforms the older battery, and it's not even close. Consider the following scenario. When fully changed and set to battery only, the machine will not last more than an hour before requiring recharging. After a few minutes, the power reserve will drop to just about 50% . br>br>When in Sleep mode, the power drain is comparable. For 15 minutes, it was left closed and unplugged in Sleep mode. The battery showed 67% remaining when it was opened. While it doesn t completely shut off in Sleep mode, and this might be a Windows issue, the fact that it dropped to 67% in 15 minutes is a worry as Sleep br>br>I have no way of knowing if this is a faulty battery or if it is simply of inferior quality. Whatever the case may be, the one I have falls short of my expectations.
I put it in my laptop and did a battery cheek and it said the battery was 169 days old now 171 days old and that it needed to be calibrated. I guess it works kind of good but I wast money and that it needed to be calibrated and that why was this in the store if it was like this. Don't buy this junk. They sent me a replacement battery and it was exactly like the first one I got.
The battery appeared to be in excellent condition when it arrived. However, since the first day of installation I have noticed that the battery drains extremely quickly, power doesn t last more than a couple of hours with battery fully loaded, with% I'm not sure what the problem is, but the battery doesn't last long even when the notebook is turned on but no apps are running.
I purchased this replacement battery in the hopes of finding a good match. MEH is all there is to say about it. I plugged in the computer and installed the battery to ensure that it was fully charged. I unplugged the charger after it had finished charging. The battery life is only about two hours, and the computer gives me a warning before shutting down after about three minutes. Although the warning is useful, the battery life of only two hours is insufficient - Having a battery is preferable to not having one - However, it is not excellent. Next time, I'd most likely look for something else.
