If the Yellow light still remains the first time you start it up after changing batteries, unplug it and hold the power button for 1 minute. That should clear it up. After that, plug in the new battery and apply the sticky material provided to stick the new battery to the bottom of the motherboard. Approximately 3 months have passed since I replaced the battery, and I've never experienced a Yellow Light of Death since then. Once you replace the CMOS battery, you won't have this issue again. As a result, I do not have a definitive answer as it has only been 3 months since the replacement was installed. Nevertheless, I can assure you that the issue is definitely the CMOS battery, and it can be fixed by replacing it with this one. It is as simple as replacing the battery, draining the energy of your Alpha crew, and then it will work. I have been able to use my alienware alpha because of this. Four years were the length of the period. There is no doubt that it.
It was great to receive the battery the day after the light issue (thank you so much! up my Alpha. It was annoying to remove the back cover that ran over the ports, but it came Once I had disconnected and peeled off the old battery, I just pasted the new one in (don't This is the second time that Alpha has lived! While I was unhappy about spending $15 to replace a battery that there is no need to replace, from what I hear, I got off on a good note. The little box is still showing some signs of wear, but that could be because I'm updating my RAM to the max 16GB and then upgrading the SSD!.
