A couple of days ago when I tried to update Windows, I realized my battery was not charging properly. It took ECHEER a couple of months to send me a replacement, which also held 9% charge. During my vacation, my other notebook (one with which I started writing this review) died while I was on vacation. It had a replacement battery I installed 2 months ago, and it died on me yesterday. A charging time of 8 hours is only necessary for unplugged use of less than three minutes. Besides being an ECHEER battery, it is also a powerful one. do not expect the replacement to be any better than the original. Originally, I was told to call Dell after my old battery failed and asking what kind of battery to use. They didn't return my call.

(I suspect they do not make this, since it is not listed on the site. )

It did not list my Dell Inspiron 17 (5749) but after reading a reply stating that it worked with my Dell, it worked as expected! I hope you don't expect spect to last 10 hours when a battery like this only lasts 3 hours.
