That could be perplexing. My laptop's main compartment is 5 inches thick in my bag. This includes the rear wheel housing's small bumpout. On the front, there is another section with two zippered compartments, as seen in the second and third pictures of the advertisement. The total thickness of the bag, including the zippered compartments, is 9 inches. When I've traveled by plane, I've been able to stow my bag under the seat and in the overhead bin, but on some smaller planes, it's been checked at the door for no additional cost. I suppose it all depends on the plane and how crowded it is. But for what I need it for, it's been a fantastic bag.
Hello,br>The only time I tried it was on a small plane with only one seat next to mine; most of the bag fit, but it slightly encroached on the other passengers leg room, perhaps an inch or so. I'm not sure it would have fit if I had been on the other side of the plane with only one seat. I didn't have to move the bag because the gentleman next to me didn't mind, but if someone really objected, you might have to put it overhead.
Yes, depending on how thick the book is, it might fit. I was able to fit 1 binding folder, 1 text book, and notes in the space available. I've had this for a few weeks and it worked great at first, but it's already falling apart, and the contents aren't even that heavy! The screw that held the handle in place had already come loose. Because I can no longer use the handle, I must carry it by hand. That is why I purchased a rolling bag so that I would not have to carry my belongings. If it's sturdy and well-made, it could be a good book bag. made.
Yes. When not in use, the handle can be tucked away. It was concealed by a zippered flap. This bag is perfect for my daughter's needs. She works for a law firm and has a lot of things to put in it, and it is very useful to her.

This bag has been with me for six months and has seen a lot of flying and driving. It's a tough bag to carry up and down stairs, over noisy tile floors, and so on. Reviews written too soon after a purchase are ineffective- After 6 months, I thought a review would be beneficial. 1. br>br> Not only is the black canvas material adequate, but it is also extremely durable. This bag will not be damaged if you rake a house key across its face. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br Canvas handles are attached to the bag for carrying on the go. When I travel, I loop another bag with extra gear over this one to take advantage of the wheels. Then, when I reach the top of a flight or two of stairs, I grab the canvas loop handles with the telescope drag handle extended and the extra bag looped over the telescope extended handle. incredibly long-lasting 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. The dimensions of the height, width, and depth fit under airline seats and in the overhead compartments of the airlines' small commuter jets. 4. br>br> There are three sections in total. Each one is big enough to hold a laptop computer. I bring two laptops and an iPad with me when I travel. A front compartment, in addition to the three zipped compartments, is available for additional items- pens, receipts, papers, and so forth. br>br>5. The dragging/wheeling carriage's sliding telescope handle is of comparable quality to nearly all other similar bags. This telescope handle isn't strong enough to lift and carry up the stairs repeatedly. After a lot of use/abuse in this manner, the telescope handle will eventually fail. As a result, do not transport it in this manner. 6. br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br> The only thing about this bag that I don't like is the wheels. The tires are made of an average rubber compound. When you chase a rental car bus down the street and drag the wheels sideways across concrete or asphalt streets and sidewalks, the wheels will develop flattened spots around the wheel that make loud thumping noises when you return to hard floor surfaces to use it normally. There are bags with wheels made of more durable rubber compounds that can withstand more abuse. This isn't a deal breaker for me. This is not a problem as long as you are careful not to drag the bad sideways while rolling the wheels with the telescope extended. br>br>This is a fantastic bag. Purchase it and reap the benefits of its superior functionality.
After a year of use, the telescoping handle broke. After a year of use, the handle should be intact. That isn't "NORMAL" at all! Is this how the company manages to get out of their warranty? We bought this bag because the manufacturer claims to back up their product with a 5-year warranty. At the time of purchase, we followed the directions and registered it on the "SOLO NY" website. We contacted Amazon after it broke, and they said they couldn't help us and that we needed to go through the "SOLO NY" company for warranty service (which we have called several times); have been placed on HOLD before being disconnected; The phone continues to ring, followed by a message stating that they are unable to take our call and will contact us later. NO CALL BACK AFTER LEAVING OUR INFORMATION FOR A CALL BACK. We contacted them via their website, but received no response. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY AT THIS TIME, and be aware that even if AMAZON advertises a warranty, AMAZON WILL NOT BACK THE BUYER! AMAZON AND SOLO NEW YORK HAVE MADE ME EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!.
I bought it to transport my 17-inch laptop, and it fits it snugly and has plenty of pockets for other items. This is fantastic. Not so fast, because I made the mistake of rolling it three times on the smooth airport floors while on the wheels. 3 times. Now? Klak klak klak klak klak klak klak klak kla Flat spotting is a term used to describe the condition of a wheel that has been This is inexcusable for a bag that is only a few months old and has been lightly used. The wheels are as delicate as a snowflake who has discovered that it isn't unique. This bag should be avoided at all costs.
This case has made me very happy. I like how the laptop is positioned toward the back of the case, preventing the case from tipping over due to weight (this was a major concern with other cases and backpacks). I took a look at some wheeled cases). There is a separate area with a divider for folders and paper in this case, as well as plenty of room for anything else you might need for a traveling office. Your pens, iPad or Tablet, and other small items are organized in the front pocket. This case has served as a carry-on bag for me. on a business trip that will last more than one night; It's large enough to fit a change of clothes, shoes, and cosmetics without requiring a separate bag. The case is a little heavy to carry for extended periods of time, which is why I purchased one with wheels. The only time I have to carry this is when I need to lift it up to a table/chair or into an overhead compartment on a plane; the shorter handles make this simple. The wheels on this case appear to be sturdy. The only way to know how long this case will stand the test of time is to wait and see. Overall, the price and quality of this laptop case on wheels have exceeded my expectations.
It arrived in perfect condition. It was a success. Then the agony started. br>br>As the bag expanded, the zippers became tangled in the nylon material that fans out. I've been late on several occasions due to my struggle to free the zipper. I got the scissors and hacked away a large chunk of the internal nylon once, desperate to free the little bugger. It was like a poor bobcat trying to get out of a trap by gnawing off his foot. br>br>Today, a zipper completely dislodged itself from its tracks. "At long last, at long last, at long last, at long last, at long last, at long last, at long last, at long last, at long last, at long last, at long last, at long last, at long last " I'm going to get a good Jansen large wheeled backpack. A company that does things right gives you a lifetime guarantee.
It's where she keeps all of her files and paperwork. She no longer has to carry multiple bags and briefcases, thanks to the case. The wheels are in excellent condition. It's something she really enjoys.
