Exactly what I was looking for! A bag on wheels that was bulky and hard to lift into my car was my favorite, but I don't use it as often as I would like. The compartments on this one work well, and it has lots of functionality. It can hold two small 15" laptops, two 1" binders, and the small amount of things that a girl would carry, such as a wallet and headache medicine. Depending on how full the bag gets, I could also fit an extra pair of clothes in it, but shoes not. I like it a lot. I just like to do this for my own reasons. As a whole, I like this a lot!.

Although it offers a small measure of protection, it does so very minimally. A small amount of padding is used in the laptop section, about 1/8th inch / 3mm maximum Due to the fact that the elastic strap that holds the laptop in place cannot be tightened (see photo), the laptop is not held securely. Even though there is some additional padding at the bottom of the laptop section, it is extremely thin and does not align with the laptop (in the photo it looks like a thin black strip).

I don't understand the purpose of the internal strap

It may be OK for a while. You can't put anything in it. For my 16" MacBook Pro and iPad Pro, I'm using it. There are no pen holders built into the pens. Rest of the junk is standard manufactured It seems that's the new standard, doesn't.
