Is it possible to connect to the nas with a laptop only connected via wifi? My laptop needs to be able to read data from an isolated instrument network. ?

It is not possible to connect wirelessly to the Synology Diskstation. There must be an Ethernet cable between the computer and the server. your router has wireless capabilities, then you should be able to see it as a wireless device on your computer if you are connected to it (via Ethernet).

Would it be possible to get it with 2GB of RAM and a 2TB SSD?

No idea what the ram is like, but 2 TB is a good amount

Is this compatible with the "Moments" feature? Images are organized using this tool. ?

On the Synology DiskStation, you can choose from three packages Moments, Photo Station and Media Server.
