The AMD Radeon Vega series APU is built into the CPU. You can find out what GPU cores are on the chip die by looking up the CPU model.
It's possible, but given that the computer's alimentation source has a nominal power of 180 volts, it's very likely that you'll need to update the alimentation source as well.
That, and a slew of other light games, it's more than adequate. With lower settings and more RAM, you can get a lot more done in a shorter amount of time.
Yes. GBit speeds are supported by any PC built in the last ten years.

This was purchased as a replacement for my 10-year-old HP desktop, and the difference is incredible. Unless you're doing one of the following, this is, in my opinion, the fastest desktop you'll ever need. 1) video editing for Marvel Studios 2) crunching massive amounts of data for scientific/statistical purposes 3) playing the most recent game on ultra-high resolution settings that are very high After testing the processor, it appears to be on par with the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (which sells for $200), and the onboard GPU, while not quite up to par with the latest and greatest, is comparable to an AMD r7 360 (which sells for $300). It's simply a beautiful design. Except for the power supply and optical drive, everything is on the motherboard, and the M2 ssd hard drive and RAM are lightning fast, making this computer a great value in my opinion, and my other HP is practically bulletproof.
One, on the other hand, is my nephew, who stands to gain nothing by selecting a computer for me because he is aware of my needs (which are very basic). br>br>He said, "I can't believe I'm saying this, but for what you want and the money you want to spend, this HP Pavilion is the way to go. " I didn't want to spend more than $700 on this trip. br>br>I'm 70, not a gamer, and I mostly watch movies on Netflix, but I wanted a drive where I could watch my old DVDs on occasion. HERE'S ONE CON: The DVD drive is FRAGILE and is positioned vertically. BUT, I don't watch a lot of DVDs and I'm careful with them. Because I don't have much space on my computer desk, I didn't want an external drive. br>br>He claimed that the RYZEN is superior to the i3 or i5 in terms of graphics or something. Anyway, this should suffice for MY NEEDS (basic stuff, streaming movies, email, looking things up). br>br>I've been using it for a couple weeks and am very happy with it. br>br>IF ANYTHING CHANGES, I WILL UPDATE.
The Nvme slot has been multiplied by two! 1 GB/s is the maximum speed. br>It's fine for basic office work or light casual gaming (1080 on LOW), but if you want more, you'll need to find a much more powerful PSU in a TINY form factor before you can add a GPU. br>There are a lot of USB3 ports, but none of them are generation 2. br>The DVD player is laptop-style, 7x, and slow. br>RAM is CL22, with a total capacity of only 12GB. ONLY TWO RAM SLOTS ARE AVAILABLE. Only two PCIE slots, all gen3br>Only one NVME slot, half speedbr> br>There is no hard drive and only a small SSD. br>Horrible chicklet keyboard, standard mouse that is barely adequate. br>Worst BIOS I've ever seen. br>Cute, but not in the same league as the old HP class.
BUT! It's been less than three weeks since I purchased an HP computer. It turned off by itself today for no apparent reason. br>All of a sudden, the screen read "update" and then turned off. I couldn't believe my eyes. After a minute or two, I re-started it. The computer then shut down automatically due to a high level of heat, according to a DOS error message. When the problem is resolved, it will self-repair and restart. br>br>I waited and tried three more times to start the computer, all of which resulted in the same message. Finally, after another 20 minutes or so, the computer started up and proceeded to do the automatic Windows update that had started it all. When this happened, I was in the middle of something. In terms of the files I was working on, everything was exactly as I had left it. I did not contact Support, but I will do so if I encounter this or any other problem in the future. Please let me know if this is a known problem with this model so that I can get it replaced if necessary.
I'm not a gamer, but I filled up the hard drive in two days, so you'll probably need to factor in the cost of a portable hard drive as well as the cost of replacing the computer's cheap keyboard and mouse. So far, I'm happy with the results. The bloatware was easy to remove, and the computer runs smoothly for a home computer. There's also a hushed silence.
It is equipped with a 500MB graphics card. If you want to upgrade (some games require 2GB), you'll need to get one that doesn't require you to plug it in. It comes with two SATA cables, but you'll need to buy an adapter if you want to use a PCIE video card. Remember that this is a smaller case, so things will be crowded. It is, however, a well-functioning computer, and I appreciate the smaller size and front-facing USB port! The addition of a small keyboard and mouse is a nice touch. It has made me very happy.
I bought this as a daily computer for my wife. I should've informed her that it was for gaming purposes. Yes, it's a little excessive, but she claims it's fantastic. This is fantastic, and I would suggest it to anyone.
If you're looking for a DECENT PC with an AMD APU, like the majority of people, this is the place to go. This is a possibility. However, I recommend upgrading to 16GB of RAM, though 12GB will suffice. Will be able to play a number of games at low settings and with reasonable framerates.
