I am less than thrilled that this brand new machine has a dead pixel, as it was required for it to have 2 dead pixels to qualify for warranty coverage. It was not helpful to contact customer service at Acer. There were troubleshooting suggestions that I tried but they provided no value. They also clearly did not communicate well between one another in their customer service department. It became apparent during a subsequent call that notes sent by the previous customer service representative were not effective in communicating the steps we had already taken. Their goal is not to provide positive results. Very disappointed with Acer. Will never buy another product from them.

For the most part, it boots up fast (around 10 sec to a minute), the display and the sound are excellent. Having said that, let's get to the good stuff. There is a lot of noise coming from the computer's fan. A hum that is unpleasant and can get on your nerves over time in a quiet room is not like a broken fan, just a hum that tends to get annoying over time. Our intended use for the Acer was to replace our 7 year old iMac which had a fan, but the Acer one is much louder and stronger. There is no question this PC is a good computer if you aren't concerned with noise or think this is nitpicky.

I'm getting my second Acer Aspire AIO, and I like it a lot. While my original Acer is still running perfectly, I wanted to increase the RAM, HD, and solid state drive. It downloads and transfers so much faster than my 4 GB Acer** *Downside The stand IS make it difficult to place the webcam and reduce space available for the computer. It makes me make tons of mistakes on this keyboard even though I'm a fast typist (100 WPM). Thus, I have simply moved on to a different keyboard. Nevertheless, I have found this Aspire Z24 to be a very good I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!.

As far as I can tell, everything in the package worked well straight away. It takes only a few minutes to set everything A SSD drive makes this computer work like a charm - In a ship It only takes seconds for a computer to boot. Having an SSD drive in an Apple computer is one of the reasons people love them, as the speed of a computer is only as fast as its slowest component, and those slow one TB+ drives will slow down even As for picture and sound, they are both excellent, as well as the wireless monitor and keyboard. Excellent value. I highly recommend this book. The system does not come with office, and I could not run my old version of Office Professional 2010 on it. However, I found a reasonably priced licensed version.

I am amazed at how fast it boots up with an It takes a short time for applications to load. I like the monitor and speakers as well. It's too early for me to comment on the camera, so I cannot comment on it. In terms of my rating, I was going to reduce it by two stars due to one significant error It sounded like a jet plane taking off upon first use of the CD/DVD drive. There's almost a lack of grip when the tray is closed. This wouldn't happen every time, but about every 5th or 6th disc I would hear that same loud, annoying noise. Because Amazon was so generous to offer me a partial credit toward the purchase of an external CD/DVD drive, I've decided to only reduce my rating by one star. Being that this product can be used at home or in the office, I recommend it.
