I don't recall the exact dimensions of the card, but it was a PCI express card that fit perfectly in my tower. If you have a small tower, the additional bracket should allow you to mount it.
This card has three outputs. There's no raca on this card, so it's ready for a 5mm jack.

The sound card was not automatically installed on my computer by the disc they sent. I had to open the files on the disc, choose the one that was compatible with my computer's operating system, and then tell it to install. I expected to just plug in the card and let the computer or disc handle the rest, but it works, and that's all that matters. Because my mother board's internal sound card was failing, I had no choice but to purchase this card. This card can be plugged into a slot on your mother board. Before you begin, unplug your computer and clean out all of the dust; I used my vacuum cleaner and an old toothbrush to do so. Also, make sure you choose the new sound card in your volume control; otherwise, you might be using the wrong sound card.

Use start-setup to get started. br>br>So far, it's working well. You won't get studio-quality sound, but if you have a good set of speakers, it won't hurt.
It went in without a hitch, but my Windows 10 computer couldn't locate the sound card at first. I inserted the sound card's CD and discovered a folder for Windows 10 on it. Everything worked fine after I ran the setup file in that folder and restarted the computer.

Basically, you need to download the seller details to install the software. I would expect that this should be the case regardless of.
The installation disc that came with the package never got the job done completely. In the end, I had to duplicate the disc and burn it to a new CD. After that, the installation went off without a hitch and was completed completely. Finally, a word of warning: The disc presents itself (as not loading a normal setup routine) because it contains the driver files but in a different way than you might expect. You must manually search for the necessary Windows 10 files. It falls within the 8738-area code. Win 10. To complete the installation, you'll need to install eleven files. My only complaint is that the software is awkward and took a few minutes to set up properly (there are almost no explanations of what things are or how to set it up properly). If you don't have a disk drive, you'll have to go to some strange website listed in Amazon's description to get the drivers, which is a pain. You will need Winrar to open the rar file. ), for some reason the speakers are backwards, the software shows where the left and right speakers should be, but when playing sound they are reversed, i just swapped the cables on the back of my amp and it works fine, but it's strange. still recommend for anyone who doesn't want to spend $40- 60 on one, but be aware that you may need to fiddle with it a little. Physically, it was simple to install, but the included disk is useless; it wouldn't load the drivers on my HP computer running Windows 10! The security system continued to alert me that the disc was corrupted! I visited the manufacturer's website, which is located at www. cmedia. com, searched for the model 8738, and downloaded it. It's a zip file that you open and extract before downloading and letting it run. Your computer will restart on its own. and there you go. The audio has been restored.
