A replacement DVD for an older laptop that has failed CD-RW drive. Easy to install, worked right away with no additional drivers.
Replaced with excellent results.
There is no other point to it it works.

Burning CDs and DVDs also worked as expected. This is a direct replacement for my failed DVD-reader and it is a direct replacement for my failed DVD-reader. My old one went away, so I swapped out the faceplate and door, and the new one was installed in my laptop. I burned a CD and a DVD to check it out, and it worked as expected.
