Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
SAFETY APPLICATION: SYY is non-conductive and metal-free, reducing the risk of a short circuit and providing additional protection for the CPU and VGA card.
Thermal Conductivity: 15 – BETTER THAN LIQUID METAL It has a thermal conductivity of 7W/m-k and is made up of carbon particles. It makes sure that the heat generated by the CPU or GPU is dissipated properly.
THERMAL COMPOUND: The SYY thermal paste Edition 2020 formula has excellent component heat dissipation performance and is stable enough to push the system to its limits.
EASY TO USE: SYY thermal paste has a perfect consistency and is simple to apply even for beginners.
HIGH DURABILITY: Unlike metal and silicon thermal conductive adhesives, SYY thermal paste 2020 will not degrade over time; once applied, it will last at least 5 years without needing to be reapplied.

Questions & Answers

How long does this product have a shelf life?

Thermal grease typically has a two-year shelf life if properly stored in the sun. 3 years

Is this substance conductive to electricity?

No, this item does not conduct electricity.

Is there a gap in this history?

No, it's fine for regular office computers; it works well and lasts longer than other thermal pastes.

Is it a thick or a runny sauce?

It's a little thicker than usual.

I guess it'll do for the price
4/5

I'll test it out and report back. To be honest, it appears to me that this is a generic product. I haven't put it to the test yet, but it appears to be cheap just by looking at it. Most likely, this stuff was just covered with new packing that was inspired by the thermal grizzly. This paste isn't 15 years old, in my opinion. 7mk/w, they can write whatever they want on it in China, and lying is a part of the game. When I get the gpu block, I'll compare this to my thermal grizzly paste and adjust the feedback. br>br>Using a flat surface, I dropped a small dot and quickly transformed it into a large thin layer. I believe that if you apply pressure, it will spread on its own. However, because it is not a "wet" paste, it may take some time to spread on a large cpu block, particularly if you have not cleaned your old oily paste first, as it may not stick well enough. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> br>8700k CPU, 1. 28 volts, premium air cooled, prime95 max temp 1. br>br> 86 degrees with syybr>2. 87 degrees Fahrenheit with a thermal grizzly kyonautbr>3. With a liquid metal conductonaut, it's 81 degrees Celsius. br>br>Overall, the same or better performance than a three-fold more expensive thermal paste. br>Both applied in an X shape without the use of spread tools.

It's simple to use and has a few useful features
4/5

So, depending on how it holds up to the heat of my system, I may come back in a few weeks to update this review. Right now, it keeps my system at the temperature it needs to be at (roughly 30 C if the monitoring system I'm using is accurate) while I'm actively using it. It came with a cleaning wipe as well as a plastic spreading tool. br>br>If you use it correctly, you should have no problems, so I'm guessing the negative reviews are from people who didn't use it correctly and are blaming the product rather than themselves. Directions aren't complicated and don't need to be; if you believe they are, I would advise you to hire a professional instead of doing the work yourself. br>br>However, the company may wish to hire a proofreader for their instructions, which are still simple to comprehend. I'm going to leave it at that unless I notice a change in effectiveness in the coming weeks.

My VRAM Temps Have Finally Been Reduced! This thermal paste was chosen not only for its high W/mk rating, but also for its low viscosity
5/5

I wanted to use thermal paste rather than thermal pads, so I needed a paste with a high viscosity to keep its shape. This was a huge help. When the ambient temperature was high, my VRAM got up to 104C. My temperatures have dropped to 86 degrees Celsius since using this paste. I would strongly advise anyone experiencing thermal issues to give this a try, as I didn't have the best experience with thermal pads as some others have, but as long as the gap they need to fill is reasonable. The gap between the heatskink and the VRAM chips in my case was about 1mm. The thickness of the stock pad I removed before applying the paste told me so.

This is an excellent thermal paste
5/5

It's a little thick, which I like because it means you can get away with using less for better thermal conductivity. I'd say my CPU idle temperatures are about 3° lower than they were previously. I'm getting 34°C on idle on my I7 3770, and load never gets above 65°C on a stock cooler, and it's all thanks to this thermal paste. I care about keeping my temps low, but I don't spend time comparing thermal pastes (they're usually about 2°C apart for better or worse), I just know that this stuff works. The 15. 7W/m- Because the k thermal conductivity caught my eye, I assumed it was the best. br>br>Pros: I like that it came with:br>br>• A spatula for spreading the pastebr>• A plastic clear cut out to place over the processor for a nice, square application of thermal pastebr>• Grease Cleaner wipe for old thermal pastebr>• White plastic rectangular card for the thermal application process as well (I didn't need this, but I'm willing to bet it's most likely for creating a boundary on each side of the processor so that the spatula won Nonebr>br>Everything is packaged in a neat little bag. This thermal paste is less expensive than other "name brands," so don't hesitate to buy it!.

I noticed that this thermal compound claimed to have a thermal conductivity of 15, which is almost as good as Thermal Grizzly for half the price
4/5

7 watts per meter squared, which is higher than Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, my usual go-to. I figured I'd do some testing with this stuff because it was cheaper to boot. br>br>I had an open-source setup. air test bench with a Ryzen 2300x processor, 2x4GB Corsair DDR4 memory, and an MSI B450 Max-Q motherboard A Zalman CNPS 10x Extreme tower cooler and a Zalman Pro tower cooler br>br>I ran Passmark Performance Test's CPU Benchmark five times in a row, using both the TG and this compound, and monitored temperatures with HWINFO64. The Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut compound, I discovered, had a 2. Maximum temperatures on the CPU die are 2 degrees Celsius cooler, and there is a 2 degree Celsius cooler on the CPU die. Cooler with a maximum temperature of 0 C on the motherboard's CPU socket. In addition, TG was two. At idle, the temperature is 0 degrees Celsius cooler. The Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, on the other hand, is less viscous than this SYY 157 compound. Depending on the mounting pressure on your heatsink, this will have an impact on how it spreads. My Zalman CNPS 10X Extreme CPU cooler attaches with a rather flimsy spring clip. Because it doesn't press down very hard on the CPU die, I'm wondering if the SYY 157 compound would perform better with a heasink that exerts more mounting pressure between the CPU and the coldplate. br>br>THE END RESULTS: if you're in desperate need of 2. 0 degrees Celsius (or possibly even lower?). Get the Thermal Grizzly if you want to make a significant improvement. But if you're a frequent builder and GPU repaster like me, and you want a high-quality, low-cost compound, this SYY 157 is the way to go. It's excellent material.
