How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

A virtually inaudible 135mm PWM fan with Silent Wings technology
Only achieves 21 in Product 1. At full fan speed, the noise level is 4dB(A).
This is product number one six copper heat pipes that are highly efficient
A new design of cooling fins that improves airflow and reduces noise
The MX Pastes have been a landmark of quality for many years, despite the fact that the design of the packaging as changed several times, and the formula of the composition hasn't been changed.
In addition to having excellent thermal conductivity, ARCTIC MX-4 thermal paste is made of carbon microparticles, guaranteeing superior performance. The heat generated by your CPU/GPU can be dissipated quickly & efficiently thus keeping you cool
The MX-4 is composed of no metal and is not electrically conductive, which eliminates the possibility of short circuits and adds additional protection to CPUs and VGA cards.
As opposed to metal compounds and silicon thermal compounds, the high-quality MX-4 thermal compound will not break down with time. Once applied, you will not have to apply it again since it will last at least 8 years.

Questions & Answers

How much thermal paste does it come with?

There are times when mine came with none at all, which is a little disappointing, but I'm fine with it, so I'll buy some by myself

Does this come with the AM4 bracket as of 2019?

This product comes with an am4 CPU and a bracket for an Intel CPU

Does anyone have any experience with Rosewill 4U rackmount cases?

It is not my fault The Focus G Black ATX Mid Tower Computer Case by Fractal Design worked well with it. A maximum CPU cooler height of 165mm is available for this cooler, which is almost completely taken up. In a quick google search, the max height for 4U units was found to be My estimate of what will be sufficient is significantly less than I had anticipated. In my opinion, it is not worth trying.

Generally speaking, I do not recommend it
3/5

First of all, I am leaving both the review for the BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 4 and the Review for the BeQuiet Silent Wing 3 together, so you can fully comprehend the review I am leaving. I would like to start by telling you that I am a sound engineer and have an ear that most people simply do not have. I have specialised ears that are different from most. The decibel range (10th of a decibel), I am a recording engineer and have a basis in psychology. For the past few years I have been building computers as well. Besides using them, I have used more fans that you can imagine, but I have made sure to listen to them rather than simply use them. What I can tell you for both of these, Dark Rock Pro 4 and BeQuiet Silent Wings, is Frequencies that are produced by these devices are far below human ears' capacity to hear as well as above our normal range of hearing. We can hear sounds in the range of 20 hz to 20,000 hz, however not everyone is able to hear this range. Some start hearing at 45 hz, and only hear The way the brain works is more important in this review, however, than the way our ears function. In Dark Rock Pro 4, the BeQuiet fans are Silent Wing 3 fans, with a variation of 135 mm fans that is exclusive There are motors/bearings in the fan that operate at frequencies around 6 Hz and above 19,000. It's just a number, so what's the point? It is believed that the brain operates at a frequency of 5 hz, so any sound that reaches that frequency can affect the person's head, making them sill angry (without being aware that it is made) or making them physically ill. Usually, frequencies above 17 Hz will cause ears to hurt, and they will feel a dull pain in your eardrums. This is caused by the follicles of the ear drum being damaged, and the pain is representative of the It is the hair follicles in our ears who act as nerves that translate fluctuations in sound into perceivable sound that is sent directly to our brain, and then decoded into a certain memory within our It is highly probable that high frequencies will damage your ears, cause you to become deaf eventually, and eventually destroy your ear canal follicles as a result. The human ear cannot detect frequencies over around 18,000 Hz, which is a significant issue, but unfortunately it still remains. It is at those frequencies (for most people) that the danger zone begins. You cannot hear those sounds, but you are harming your ears. Your brain is subjected by the sound and becomes insane after a while. The frequency of 20,000 kHz, 5 hz, or any other frequency that produces an insane reaction in a person As well as 8 hz, this frequency range is very dangerous. In the science behind it, I studied, which is why I understand it, but am not paranoid about it either. It took more than 2 hours sitting next to 3 fans to make me get annoyed. I started hearing my fridge more, I suddenly heard the air conditioners in other rooms in the house (that I had never heard before), and all those sounds began to irritate My logical mind thought that there might be a problem outside or inside, so I started to check. My observation was that the frequency of the fans increased the perception of noise around me, but NOT in a positive The issue has been isolated to the 3 fans first. I removed them, and my irratation and pain in the ears have gradually improved. Amazon refunded the fans, but I encountered the same problem in 4 out of 6 fans I sat at my computer for five hours. As a side note, I have very stable moods, and I don't experience emotional ups and downs. As I looked closer, I noticed that the fans in the Dark Rock Pro 4 are causing similar issues, although to a lesser extent. It's less rpm, but the frequency is the same, just with a lesser intensity. When I took the cooler out, I realized it wasn't the noise of the fans, but the frequency that caused the problem. Because of the health risks of these fans, I would strongly suggest that people STAY AWAY from them.

If you believe me, that is of course if you believe me. I have nothing to gain from it, but wanted to warn people about it. Also, I am not blaming BeQuiet, as I'm sure they are unaware of this. Maybe you will notice this email and revise it, because I really do care for the people who have been given this information. As well, I will be sending a separate email to them. In addition to the reasons mentioned above, there are also the following The main reason why I'm returning Dark Rock Pro 4 is that the sound isn't very clear. The second issue is that cooling has a tendency to fluctuate dramatically. I don't need to bother with that part any longer. This cooler just can't compete with the Corsair H105 I had, and my temps are jumping all over the place. You should tighten the CPU bolts just a bit less, untill you reach the required pressure. As a result, the thermal paste will be pushed everywhere, causing it to thin out too much where there is more physical contact with the cooler. There will, in other words, be no thermal paste. This cooler may not be a great choice for you because of the fans. You cannot switch out the fans for anything else, so I would avoid that. The cooler uses a mounting system that is exclusive to BeQuiet. Those frequency issues, as well as the unstable cooling performance, would make me stay away from using it altogether. Because the fins are too close together, the fans are unable to provide adequate air flow to cool the unit. You may not be able to replace the fans with off-the-shelf ones because they have too low a RPM Ones that are labeled Noctua are great. Moreover, the cooler scuffs so easily from tiniest contact with the mounting brackets, causing the paint to chip so easily. A while down the line you will likely be pissed because the fins bend so easily and the black paint flakes off the mounting brackets and fins. Despite the poor quality in my opinion, I saw some success in a very well ventilated case, but I must admit that we have to be realistic. The load RPM is 70 when the engine is fully loaded. In what way? In case you didn't know, the Geminii S524 cost $35. Engineers who are good at their job and those who are not so good at theirs. The problem is. As for the cooler, I'll give it 3 out of 5 stars. It's not garbage, but it is poorly designed, and it isn't With my Intel i7 4790k at 4, I have a 4GB RAM setting. With a clock of 8 ghz, but with only one Noctua fan as opposed to two Bequiet fans, Geminii is just as well suited to the cpu as BeQuiet with four heatpipes? Results may vary, but I know what I am talking about, and I'm sticking to my guns. For great performance, you may want to choose an air cooler from Noctua or an AIO water cooler from EK. The article hopefully describes it all, all the way down to heating things up and cooling them down. The cooler is fragile, the fins are brittle, and the paint needs some work A little difficult if you have the motherboard out of the case, but not as difficult if it is mounted in the case. I am in awe of you. My friends, may the Lord grant you peace. If you try to put those bolts into the bracket, you will drive yourself crazy. You cannot have four arms and the patience of a god unless you have both.

I was so impressed with this work that I had very high expectations
5/5

For a brand new desktop build I got this. Choosing a CPU cooler was an easy decision for me, I wanted the fan to be quiet and the cooler to be effective. Since the advent of AIO water cooling, I have used a variety of machines including the NZXT Kraken x62, Corsair H80i, Swifttech H320 X2, etc. Each time I was disappointed by their noise. I dislike the pump noise the most among them, so I would not consider them silent. Some of these pumps tend to make a noise that can be very irritating, such as a ticking sound. In smaller AIOs, the fans must be run at higher rpms, so they are generally loud. Other than the obvious performance gains that come along with maintaining a gaming rig, maintaining the rig's silent performance and ability to remain cool were my goals this time around. In this build, I am not interested in RGB, windows, or anything like that. It has an i7-core processor The CPU is paired with a Corsair LPX DDR4 3200 memory module. The motherboard is an MSI MPG Z390M Gaming Edge mATX motherboard. The RAM is LPX DDR4 3200 32GB (2x 16GB). The CMK32GX4M2BL3200C16 is a Two NVMe SSDs* * A MSI RTX 2080 Duke GPU * * A Seasonic 850W PSU * A 9700k at 5 fps is appropriate. Over a 4 hour testing period, the maximum temp reached 80°C while testing on a 0Ghz CPU. An idle temperature of 26-28 F with a temperature of 72F is a *26-28 F The 29th. In gaming, it seems to depend heavily on the game, and I have not played any for long enough to be certain, however I would guess that it ranges from mid-40's to mid-60's. Thus, I would say this cooler is excellent in terms of performance. The CPU can easily be kept Hopefully you can hear this kind of whistle/whine. Basically, I heard this when spinning at full, 100% rpm. Taking a closer look at what she was saying, I moved closer to her. The cooler made no noise at all and I could hear my breathing through this build. That's how quiet this build is, I could hear my breathing/breathing through At one point the fans seemed to be not working and I had to check if they were running at all. They were, of course. To answer some concerns people may have, let me explain *Yes, this cooler completely blows my mind. *No, it wasn't as difficult as most people thought it would be. This is easier than getting a hold of It took me the longest to get the fan attached to the middle. The clearance for RAM was fine for me, but I got RAM chips that didn't have absurdly high and useless heat spreaders. As far as installation goes, I was able to do it myself without much trouble. This comes with a screw driver that is perfect for this task, and I used Grizzly Kryonaut thermal paste and spread it thin and conservatively In the installation process, getting the middle fan to latch onto the block is the hardest part. A pry tool was useful in pulling the wirey lathes over the fin notch with the help of a pry tool. The end result is a cooler that offers impressive performance, decent aesthetics, and continuous quiet In addition to its size, absence of RGB, and RAM clearance issues, it could be too big for some 14-year-olds. The minor concessions you may need to make and the fact that you are able to make it work for your build will not be regrettable. In terms of their overall build quality, I am impressed with Be Quiet's products. I will continue to consider them more closely in the future, especially when it comes to It is an excellent cooler I highly recommend.
