As an upgrade to the PS4 Pro, the Thermal Grizzly Pads work well. Sony put a poor quality cooling system into the PS4 Pro consoles and it made the unit less quiet than the PS4 Pro 7100 model. It is not as efficient when it comes to cooling, so I went with the 7100 model instead. In addition to replacing the poor quality thermal pads on the memory ram, I also replaced the pads on the vram (which some people forget to do). As a result of its poor quality, the old thermal paste has already dried up. My go-to thermal paste is the Artic MX4 due to its long-lasting properties The cooling performance on my desktop computers has been great for a long time. As of April 2018, I could tell that the PS4 Pro 7100 was more quiet than when I first purchased this model back in April 2018, and the cooling is much better. Testing high-demand games such as God of War, Horizon, and Red Dead 2 on the Pro was a challenge. Even after opening the top lid to check that the fan was on, I had to open it again to make sure it was running. *Recommend these great thermal pads with a strong recommendation.

As expected, the Thermal Grizzly Pads worked with the other two sizes I bought. I do not agree with the second point. One of the 0mm ones is horrible. Taking the plastic off requires it to stick to my fingers and fall apart, so I can only hope that the item was For this reason, Onyx PC needs to check its stock and delete.

I was able to install my EVGA RTX 2080 Super with no problems. They are awesome - they're like thermal grizzly pads A high performer. Due to their larger size, they are more expensive, so I bought this one 120x20x1mm to apply to high heat areas, In the image, I've paired the grizzlys with a less expensive 1mm alternative. The 1mm alternative has a lot more surface area to work with for the less sensitive areas and the backplate (the blue material). I managed to get the combo to work perfectly. It is unlike the other brand I was using (AIYANNI) that the pads did not deform or elongate at all when removing film. As a result, it was very easy to apply, very secure, and very sticky (you could cut precise rectangular areas with it). If it is possible, I would recommend that components have the FLAT side down and their rough sides up. This will allow the baseplate to be removed from the board in the future without tearing off pads, since the components will have better adhesion to the pads. After all was said and done, the temperature of my card dropped by 20 degrees! I did this at rest and during full-intensity training You are loading. My PS4 pro (launch model) has always been noisy to me - ever since the day it was released. During the last day of warranty, I tore the case apart to try and replace the thermal paste, in an attempt to drop down the temps and therefore quiet the fan noise. I completely forgot the thermal pads, which is why things went very quiet. I was tired of the sound of the jet engine when playing demanding games, so I looked for other ways to cool the system My next step was to replace the thermal pads with something more effective after checking their thickness. As I observe it closer this time, it is incredible that it made any progress in cooling. It turns out that the factory pads on the VRM's are perhaps half the size that they should be, and they are even not There was still a problem with alignment on the RAM pads, though they seemed to be a bit larger. In fact, the hardware purchased here is enough to complete the PS4 Pro on both the VRMs and the memory, and I have only scraps left over. I cut all pads to fit and made sure they were centered when assembling. The difference is as if it were night and day to I now use this thermal paste along with my trusty MX4 thermal tape and she runs cooler now. The reason I bought it was because of that I need to replace the thermal pads on my 3080 because it overheats with the stock cooler. I received a different product in the pictures than I saw on the website. It appeared that the picture showed a thermal pad nearly the size of the bag, but since it is a single inch by inch, it must be a mistake. A casual reading of the description indicates that the Length and Width measurements have no The thickness of the pad is all that matters. Based on the pictures of the product, I thought I would get two, but the two I received are ridiculously small compared to what is pictured.

Under the heat sink, it felt like putting a thick slice of cheese, and the results were expected - the CPU temperatures went up significantly. I think any thermal pad would likely yield similar results and would not be a good idea for CPU applications, this being true not just of this product. After trying a number of things, I found that I was able to solve the problem by using a thin layer of thermal compound. Y'all need to stop trying to reinvent the wheel on the bottom line- Put a thin layer of good ol' trusted thermal compound on your heating system and save yourself lots of money and headaches!.

This set consists of one mm pads and one mm screws In many cases, the Grizzly thermal paste is the only thing that prevents a console from being replaced.
