So I have used it with no problems on my PS3 slim. It works on my PS4 so I don't understand why it won't. My PS4 has the same thermal paste, but I have not yet changed it

Arctic silver 5 was not the one I got, It was a knockoff of Arctic Silver 5 and not the real thing

Why no one has noticed that it is a fake product, there is a color difference, and the consistency is completely different from that of the original. It is too liquidy or watery and the color is extremely light.

The paste I use to replace ancient, crusty paste on laptops is what I use when I clean up and flip/collect laptops. To date, I haven't compared the thermal performance of this paste with any other paste, although so far it keeps laptops well under 80C even when under maximum load. Furthermore, it's an enormous quantity of paste. I have pasted about four or five CPUs and an 880m GPU, and I have maybe half gone through the There's probably too much paste in this, so this is going to last for a long time.

Arctic silver 5 is the paste I use. Its cooling capacity is what really makes me feel confident, which is why I have passed the price for very small containers at the moment. As the owner of a computer repair shop, I rely heavily on the product. My wish is that they would make larger tubes available at a discount.

I use it and it works well

The amount used by some is as small as a pea. It is an AS5 program that works well. Rather than spreading a pea-sized amount, I personally spread a very thin layer with a razor blade over the CPU die, let it stand for around 10 minutes to 'set up' a bit more, and then install the heat sink. Heat sinks from factories use OEM solutions that are a lot better than aftermarket solutions. I will recommend that you upgrade to AS5 if you have reached this stage.

It's worth the effort

That's what you need to do. It will be an experience you'll never forget. The thermal paste I have been using over the last 13 years has never failed to meet my expectations. The heat transfer results for my CPU were excellent, no matter if the CPU was air or water cooled. It is very easy to apply paste if you know how to do it correctly. In addition, this stuff doesn't fade even after doing a lot of use. I had it in one computer for 7 years before removing the CPU, and the paste was still in perfect condition. Buy some Arctic Silver 5 right away.

Despite its good quality, I wish the manufacturers would figure out a way to make it so squirts end more cleanly instead of having stands of paste come out with The process of applying thermal paste to a CPU must be done with a perfect dot, but it is difficult to get a perfect dot.
