This grille kit does not include any stencils because it is typically used to replace the front plate of an existing AIRPLATE unit. I built a custom PC (their first computer) for my kids, and I went a little crazy with it. br>I made a computer case from an old beige classic computer from 1998. br>br>Because the computer case didn't have enough cooling for modern computer components, I had to get creative. br>I purchased this and a few other items to see what would work, and man, this was PERFECT! br>I did paint it to match the beige of the case (painted the entire thing)br>I was able to cut out some holes in the case and drill screw holes, which came out nearly perfect. br>br>Solid built, not flimsy, plenty of hardware, and quality screws. br>br> If you require this for a project, you will not be disappointed.
My media server is currently housed in an enclosed shelf chassis on the basement's unfinished side. The AC Infinity 120mm USB powered fans were exactly what I needed to get the hot air off the shelf properly ventilated. The quality of the fan's construction is outstanding. When you hold these fans in your hands, you can tell the difference in construction quality. I can't believe these fans are of such high build quality for such a low price. br>br>The mounting bracket was simple to install, had excellent build quality, and matched my white shelf perfectly. To make room for the bracket, I had to use a Dremel to cut a rectangle out of my shelf. It's a good thing the dimensions for the inside of the bracket were included on the webpage so I could easily measure my cut points. br>br>I didn't do a sound test to see how loud the fan was running at its highest speed (1 - There are three speed settings: low, medium, and high. Even when they're running at maximum speed, however, you can't hear them at all. The rubber grommets aid in reducing vibration and deadening any noise generated by the motor or fan blades. br>br>I would highly recommend this product; they also have fan systems with LCD screens that can be daisy chained and powered from a single USB port.
The white finish matched the rest of my system perfectly. br>br>After a brief period of time, the visible honey comb grill developed surface rust around its edges. When I first unboxed the airplate, my first impression was that the build quality was excellent, and that it would last indefinitely because it was painted metal in a low-impact area. When I contacted the manufacturer, I received a message from Andrew A. He was extremely helpful, quickly and completely resolving the problem. I expected to receive a replacement for the honeycomb grilles, but instead received a completely new unit. br>br>Excellent customer service, as well as high-quality products backed by the manufacturer. br>br>I'll be buying more of this brand in the future, and I'll be recommending it to everyone.
I used to change the look of the front of my computer case. It fits perfectly, the measurements were accurate, and it was a breeze to put together. Extra mounting hardware and two additional fan grills were included in the package.
The quality isn't as good as the black faceplate that came with it. Spray painted metal is all there is to it. It's better to just use the black one that came with the kit and paint it. I had hoped for a smooth powder-coated "bike-style painted finish. " " I ended up flipping the fans with the black stock plate on the inside of the tech closet. " I created a custom vent out of vintage pattern vented metal sheeting that you can find on Amazon and at some big box stores. After that, I used wood to frame it. It looks much better and is much cleaner now. By the way, the air conditioning's fan system is fantastic! Just go ahead and purchase it; you'll be glad you did.

I bought this to help cool down a Dell G5 prebuilt that was running hot. Installing two 120mm fans solved the problem. Grille includes all necessary hardware.
