If your graphics card isn't hot enough, they will not spin. When you are playing games with it, it only rotates when you actually use it.

This is a 1080 ti Strix owner who has replaced fan A, and I'm here to tell the story of why he got the card. I installed it and tested it out within 5 minutes. see it didn't spin as fast as the stock fans, but since the difference was in the region of $800, I didn't complain, I just wanted the fan to work well enough to get my GPU working again. This certainly is sufficient for the task at hand. In fact, this is not something you should think about upgrading, as if anything they are just marginally worse than You may possibly get ripped off by ASUS into paying hundreds of dollars to replace your computer, but when you consider that you will have to pay them thousands for nothing? cannot picture a world in which going through them would be a viable decision. As a whole, I was saved from being scammed by ASUS out of $800 and my GPU. As I was going through my own process, I thought I would share my new experiences in hopes that they can help someone who may be going through something similar. The chance that I shoot myself in the foot and break it again, because of this very tale, makes me want to order another one.

After breaking the fan bearing due to too much air pressure coming from my air cleaner, I recently had to replace the C fan on my Asus Rog Strix 1080 TI. Despite its easy installation, this new fan replacement proved to be quite durable. I have noticed that it keeps my GPU temperature low. It is only now that the fan never stops spinning that I have a complaint. I worry that it may not be monitoring the software fan control of the GPU when it's constantly running. This is because when the GPU is overclocked I like to keep my GPU temperatures at a certain range. In order to determine the fan's rpm increase with increasing temperature of the GPU, I need to test it again. As with fans B and A, we hope this fan increases its speed as well.
There have been no weird noises or weird temperatures on the fan since day one. It has only been a day, but so far everything has been working fine without any issues.
