My CD collection is quite large and I want to digitize it, so I got a LG "Super Multi Drive Optical Drives GH24NSC0B" with an ASUS DRW-80B DVD writer to make that happen. The 24B1ST day. I am not referring to eating a sammich slow, I am referring to getting to a place where you can relax. a speed of 26x (completes "Toys in the Attic" in 22 minutes) and this hummer rips the same disk (using the same kit) at only 21x (42 minutes). There is a 20% speed reduction. It would help if I put some rubber on it to dampen the vibration. It helps enough with the sound that I will keep it, but it doesn't help with I need time to fiddle with the disk, so changing a disk in a two drive setup every minute works for me. Blu-ray drives might be faster, but I need time to fiddle with the disk. You can't go wrong with the ASUS DRW-65 if all you want is an accurate ripper With the 24B1ST, LG is shipping a model that costs less, runs quieter, is faster and has almost the same accuracy as the "j" model it currently offers.

A few minutes later, I received an email stating that I had been rejected for cables. The reason I never requested cables was because I never asked for them. When I called a second time, I was told it was plug-and-play. The installation was not happening again, so I told them. In 8 days, they planned to get back to me. So far, I have not heard back In the beginning, I did not install it. It has now been too late to return. The next time I go to the desktop, I will keep it. For holding the burner in place, there is a turn knob on one side of the case. There are 2 screws on the left side of the case (facing the computer) that are replaced by two screws on the right.
