Having carefully read all of the reviews, I decided to buy this item since I needed to know it was During my senior year of high school, I made copies of audio books with it. Approximate performance of the machine was good for approximately five minutes. Initially, he behaved normally for 3 months, before beginning to act up again. They were unable to find any problems on the phone when I called. As it turns out, this machine would work for a while and then start sounding like a 747 airplane was in my office. I even had our school tech take a look at it, and he said it was a lemon. I contacted the company again and they insisted on making me go through more trials over the phone with their techs. It wasn't that I had set a time when I was not in class to talk to them, but it was that they called during class during the scheduled time and left me a missed call. I was by this time running out of patience, as well as my warranty, and we had wasted a couple of months more. Having been disconnected over the phone and unable to get the machine running again I got them to inspect the machine in person. However, I had to return it at my expense of It's $00! As soon as this was done, I received a message that the 40 CDs had been successfully copied (which I question since I rarely could do more than 10 per time before the copying stopped). Until I raised such a stink, they said they would return it as is - ONE component was replaced and it was updated. The returned machine worked for a week until I could hear the noise down the school halls again and was unable to make copies. As I had anticipated, I was able to use the returned machine for one week and then I had to stop using it. I just ran out of warranty, though! There are quite a few drives packed closely together. It's amazing how efficient it is. Since getting one of these years ago, I have burned 1,000's of DVDs and dual DVDs, all one by one. I should have gotten one of these years ago. Copy and compare is a highly desirable feature of the unit, and the unit is fairly quiet. Over 100 DVDs were burned over the course of two days with very little work and with very few failures There is a high likelihood that the three failures were due to failed DVD media. I have not noticed any overheating or shutdown of the unit, even after 12 hours of continuous copying. The computer is a reliable My only complaint was that I had to set it up on a small table to make it easier to access the bottom drive. Each copy batch can be filled from the bottom drive by starting from the bottom drive. The drives are usually packed close together, but each can be easily accessed. If you are looking for the most value out of this product, I strongly recommend the 5 or more burner model.

The price of this unit is excellent, plus shipping. The first Glyph I purchased did not have editing features, I thought all units had that, but this one did not. I did not receive any warning from the manufacturer or seller after my 1x1 Glyph unit quit after almost 9 years of hard CD copying. Then I bought a copying unit from Copystars that was very light in weight and had difficulty copying music CDs. My experience with customer service was excellent, but after the second unit went through the same motions as the first one, it just wasn't able to deliver the results I desired. My copystar had problems with CD's when I got this Produplicator unit because it was a heavy duty unit that was built very well and it cut through the CD's, while this unit did not have any problems. My Glyph unit programmed so simple and easy to use that it opened and closed so much smoother than the Cs unit. The up arrows buttons on the unit were also much better quality, and the unit opened and closed so smoothly. You will not be disappointed if you decide to buy this unit if you want a heavy duty workhorse. The quality is much better than Copystars's. So, I apologize, they may have earned a best buy rating next to their product, but I know for sure that Copystars owners will find these products of much greater You can even edit without a computer. My unit has been up and running for over two months now with no problems. I did not change any of the speed settings. I left it as it came out of the factory and it has consistently performed well. Be patient while copying some CD's, both new and copied, as they may take quite a while to copy. Rest assured that when they are copied there will be no issues with skipping or tracking errors like there was You can be confident that the unit will notify you that it has copied and is fine.
