There are a number of benefits I've noticed that my internal Superdrive (optical drive) on my 2012 MacBook Pro has started acting up again lately. was unable to play a Netflix disc from my Mac, even when I mounted it on the desktop. The box arrived this morning, and I did not have to read anything since it was all intuitive. I simply removed the included USB adapter, plugged it into my USB 2. 0 port, and set up the computer. My Mac has a 0 port, and it mounted the movie on the desktop and played it without issues. I didn't have to read anything, the software was very intuitive, and it works, so I give it the highest rating. The cons are as follows I do not think that this is exactly what is shown in is nothing printed at all on the front of the disc loading tray. Three of the three elements are shown in the image A compact disc, a recordable disc, and a In the image you see a blue light on a green machine. The green machine I received today is the one shown in the image It was worse because the loading tray just snapped into place, but the tray kept coming out as one snap and the middle snap were out of alignment. It is literally possible to pull it off or close it out of alignment with the rest of the machine. It is cheap. I think they should have glued the piece in place before snapping it in. As you can see, the cord is coming straight from the back as shown in the image. It requires you to bend the cord at a 90 degree angle (rather than out the side) to accomplish that. The longevity of the cord may not be enhanced by putting the cord in this position.
No instructions were included with this product, so I would have given it 5 stars. As I had to figure it out by trial and error, it took me some time. This is a quick burning fuel!.
For my Mac, after battling with microphones and other devices for so long, it was cool to have something that I could just plug in and start working. I used it to burn some audio CD's, and it worked very well. You won't find a better price anywhere else, and this product looks great.
The main reason I selected this product was my son, who is technically inclined, researched it for me and recommended it to me. The way the cord tucks away on the unit was an added bonus. My goal was to pick something that would be easy to use the day I got it, and I got it. I tried to plug it in as soon as it came and it came on time. There are commercially made DVDs, homemade DVDs, photo files and documents, as well as commercial and homemade CDs. It was all easy to open and everything worked. There is a bit more noise from the outside unit than from the built-in ones, however. In general, this is a good choice for me.
The majority of reviews I saw were positive, so I bought one. One I got in the mail (had zero padding around it, which means it had either been tampered with or shipped very There was no success with that one. If I put in the CD, it would just blink and spin over and over again so that it would never be able to be read or recognized I sent back the one I received, and I ordered a new one. I had success with this one ONE TIME only. There have been ongoing issues with it since that time, when it acts exactly like the first one, and only occasionally works when IT wants. It is unfortunate that such a simple product does not always work correctly. While I realize that CD and DVD burning days are almost over, it is horrifying that this product cannot always be relied upon to work properly. Although I am sure better options are available, for the reviews I saw and the price point, I am so disappointed and disappointed.
This program is compatible with my Mac laptop and Windows desktop and I use both at the same time. As expected, the product performs In spite of the fact that the vessel is plastic, it is very durable and light. A transparent cap is located in the top of the casing, so you can see part of the disk when you insert it. The product is very reliable for the duration of its use.
2 months have passed since we first started using this drive. For Mac OS (High Sierra), there is no connection issue. Immediately after plugging it in the USB port, it works. We haven't tried it with any USB-compatible device so far. In the package is an adaptor for USB type C. This is a great idea with the glass surface that allows you to see which CD is inside, but the wire length could be longer. It would be fine if placed next to the laptop on the same desk, but on another shelf would be too short. Although the spinning sound is a bit noticeable, it is usually not a problem.
Beautiful packaging made it easy to open. As soon as I connected it to my computer, it immediately recognized it and I was able to reinstall the programs Everything seems to be going well so far.
