Questions & Answers

Is there room for an optical drive in this case?

To be honest, with how old optical drives have become, I switched to an enclosure a long time ago. It's only $25, and all you have to do is plug it into a power outlet and a USB port. I haven't used that in at least seven years. However, it is available in case I require it.

Is there any kind of fan included with this?

There are no fans on either the AIR or the 011DX. br>I purchased the air for my son's build and the 011 DX XL for my own extreme build. There are no fans in either case.

Is it possible to install a 360mm radiator on top of the unit?

Yes, this is possible. On the top of my case, I have a 360mm radiator with three RGB fans, which fits perfectly.

Is it possible to mount the GPU vertically while keeping the fans at the case's bottom?

Using cooler master's gpu mount, I was able to fit one fan under the case (as long as the bracket is mounted at the very top of the PCI slots, leaving some space at the bottom). I'm using a very large card (2070 Aorus Extreme from Gigabyte), so depending on the size of your card, you might be able to fit all three (also depending on the location of your motherboard's front panel USB hub port; if it's at the bottom, you might only be able to fit two if your GPU is small enough). Due to the large GPU usb hub ports being at the bottom, I was only able to fit one fan on the bottom towards the front of the case and that was it. However, depending on the gpu size and port location, you might be able to fit all three with Noctua's ultra-low profile fans.

Great case that favors water cooling and custom loop setups
5/5

I was looking for something a little different than the norm and found it in the PC-XTREME XTREME XTREME XTREME XTREME XTREME XTREME X That's where O11 Dynamic came in. It appears to be made specifically for water cooling setups, and the side-mounted radiator gives it a very clean and tidy appearance. br>br>I have mine set up as a "pull" (air is pulled through the EK SE 360 on the side) and it works great. The top two fans are exhaust fans (I tried using them as intake fans and found that overall temperatures increased by about 3-degrees). 5c). My synthetic CPU and GPU load temps are around 65 degrees Celsius for the CPU and 52 degrees Celsius for the GPU at the same time. Realistically, they are much lower (in the low 50s) due to games and other workloads. I'm only using the Ryzen Performance Boost Overdrive for now (nothing crazy). People who do a lot of hardcore overclocking might need two or more radiators. More information on the specific build can be found at, but my only complaint about the case is that the radiator side mounting is a tight fit. Any radiator that is wider than 120mm will not fit (the EK PE 360, for example, is only 38mm deep but is 130mm wide instead of 120mm and will not fit). br>br>I imagine that if you're also doing a top or bottom radiator, the tubing will become a tighter fit. The only cutouts for inlets and outlets appear to be at the top of the side mount. I couldn't turn the radiator vertically so the fittings would be at the bottom. There's plenty of space in the back to cram cables. br>br> I like that the side drive cage can be removed to free up some space. If it made more sense in terms of layout, you could move the PSU to the top. br>br>Overall, a beautiful case with a unique cooling design. It really stands out with the right case lighting. Because the colors pop against the white background, you don't need much. It's difficult to capture the essence of the experience in photographs.

Last but not least, this is the only case I'll ever require
5/5

My favorite case, and most likely the last one I'll ever want or need (unless they make one with a lot of storage). I used 140mm air liquid coolers on the front-facing fan mounts, which had to be slightly modified to fit, but I'm pleased with the results. If you're going to put 120 fans in the top, you'll have some extra room, which you can fill with a radiator push/pull configuration on the top mounts. The glass is clear and includes a protective film on both the inside and outside panels, which saved my butt after I dropped it (derp). Everything is of the highest quality, and it allows for a wide range of configurations. In the future, I'd like to try dual 360 radiators instead of two 140mm aio rads/fan. The dual chamber design allows for plenty of room for cable management, and the cable management bar is fantastic because it doubles as a way to hide cables and mount an HDD or SSD. However, because the Sata connections aren't a perfect fit, I would strongly advise using thick washers on the hdd/ssd mounts. Overall, this is a fantastic case that is excellent value for money, and it is easily my favorite so far.

I've used a lot of cases and this is the best one I've ever This is the third time I've built something like this
5/5

The Fractal Design Define R5 case was the one I just came from. It was a good case, but it had limited airflow and was difficult to build in (in comparison to the O11 Dynamic). It is a dream to construct the Lian Li O11 Dynamic. There's a lot of room, and the Mobo mount is low enough to allow for water cooling and fitting components into the case. The two-chamber design is the best I've seen or used, with plenty of room for the PSU, cables, and accessories such as NZXT's Hue Plus, as well as internal USB Expansion hubs and Corsair link features. br>br>Overall, the case is stunning and well-made, and the light tint on the tempered glass is ideal for displaying your custom loops and builds. br>br>I give this case a five-star rating and would recommend it to anyone looking for an air or water cooling case for under $130. The price of 00 is a complete bargain.

It's a lovely and elegant case
5/5

The design is well-thought-out, and the construction is straightforward. I just finished putting together my new gaming rig, which is housed in the new Lian Li 011 Dynamic white computer case. It's a well-thought-out, elegantly designed case that'll look great in your home office, office gaming room, or even living room. Its sleek lines and beautifully engineered lightly tinted front and left side tempered glass panels give it a showpiece quality, which I really like. and convinced me to purchase a three-pack of Corsair LL 120 RGB white case fans, as well as the Corsair white Hydro Series, H100i RGB PLATINUM SE, 240mm Radiator (white) Dual LL120 RGB PWM Fans, Advanced RGB Lighting and Fans. br>br>Here's what I've come up with for my new build: My system includes a Lian Li 011 Dynamic case, an Intel i9 9900k processor, the cooler and fans described above, and an EVGA nVidia GTX 980Ti graphics card, as well as a new Corsair RM 850I power supply. A corsair 4 LED/RGB lighting strip extension pack was also added. My motherboard is the MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Edge AC, which is brand new. br>br>Building in this case was a breeze because the left inside edge is beveled to accommodate all of your cables, and there are enough tie down points to keep them organized. I also like how Lian LI placed the PSU area on the back, behind the MOBO tray, allowing you to move your PSU cables around freely. ( NOTE: Between the top of the PSU and the bottom of the compartment, I looped my 25 Pin MOBO cable. a pleasant surprise! )br>br>Above the PSU are two vertical HDD and/or SSD drive trays that are simple to remove, install your drives on, and route your cables through. In the back, there is a screw-on door that conceals it. br>br>The magnetized dust filters are excellent and easy to clean, and clearance for the various radiators is good. br>br>Next, keep in mind that reinstalling the top panel on the case can be a pain. I'm not sure if it's just my case or all of them, but the small rivets that slide into the holes don't seem to be quite long enough, making it a tight push and pull and alignment effort. It was easy to put it on at first, but aligning the top with the front edge of the case without a lot of maneuvering became a struggle for me. Then tighten the two thumbscrews on the back if necessary. Prepare to see a lot more "jiggling" around. It turns out that the ease of tightening the back two screws and the alignment of the top with the front glass panel edge go hand in hand, which isn't a big deal for me. Because three of your case fans/Radiator will be placed directly over the front ventilation slots, and because of the size of the case, when your fans spin up faster than about 1000 RPM, you will begin to hear the dreaded fan noise. However, it is not a significant issue for me. It's not that bothersome, and when I'm gaming with my headphones on, the temperatures in this case stay relatively cool, and I can't hear the fans anyway. I don't give a damn about it. br>br>Another thing is that my wife adores the case's design and all of the lovely colors that the RGB produces. LOL. As a result, until the next time I build a new rig, my 30-year marriage will be intact. br>br>This is a case that I strongly suggest. It's well built, well designed, and looks very classy for the price. It also has excellent thermals! br>br>Have fun with it! br>br>PWN PWN PWN PWN PWN PWN PWN PWN PWN PWN PWN.
