The size of the smaller chip is crucial for the application I have in mind, even though it doesn't have as many IO pins as the big brother. In addition to that, the game includes a full-version of I was pleasantly surprised to see that the AVR has the performance and memory one would expect from an esp32. Another nice surprise was the fact that it doesn't require pressing the "boot" button to upload Arduino sketches or the micropython system. It has no buttons, so there are none! I just uploaded, nothing else to do! All the pins are breadboard-spaced, as are the headers, and there are even two different battery connectors included. As they managed to squeeze a battery management system into the buttons, they managed to squeeze in some space for the buttons. It is very expensive compared to it's bigger siblings, so I'd imagine this would be best suited to designs with limited space There are other options, but that's what is advertised. As far as what I have in mind is concerned, I'm glad it's there, so I rated.
This is a beast of a thing for such a small size! I can use plenty of GPIOs on this board, and especially like the addition of flash and PSRAM, which really helps with any larger programs I wish to write.
I just started my journey into micropython and this board is perfect for it. My first attempt at building a micropython binary out of this board was a lot of fun. I used the expressif tool chain to build the binary.
The board is stunning. The craftsmanship is superb. The price difference was well worth it.
This is the first year I've standardized all my projects on TinyPico. It's true that you can buy ESP32 boards for $20 less, but they're not as small as this. In comparison with the TinyPico all by itself, the ESP32 WROOM chip most of those boards use is about half the size. Its light weight is also an advantage of the TinyPico No matter what you do, not one ounce will be harmed. This device consumes about one tenth as much power as the Fire Beetle, and about one tenth that of the A concern might be the size, weight, and/or power of the machine A drone may be the answer A microcontroller is a device that controls your computer. A high level of quality can be expected in the production process. There have never been any duds out of the 15 I've bought.
