Questions & Answers

The seller requested the following information Do the DH370s support a displayport mst hub that allows for display to be extended to 4 1080 p monitors (5 total monitors)?

The h370 chipset can only support three displays at a time. You may not be able to use display port hub because of restrictions in the chipset. The Shuttle XH110G might be of interest to you. It is possible to install a single slot graphics card (with 5 display ports) in XH110G.

Is there a wireless adapter built in to this model?

The laptop does not have a built-in WiFi capability.

Is there a 32GB memory module available for the Dh370 from Amazon US? Also, you will be able to get an Intel core i5-based system A desktop processor with six cores up to four cores is the 9400. What does a 1 GHz turbo processor look like? Are you working?

In the case of the i5 It is okay to use the 9400. I have not tried all the RAM brands available on Amazon, but most likely the SODIMM DDR4 will work as long as it is not too volatile. So far, I have had no problems with Crucial Sodimm ddr4 16gb x2.

What is the compatibility of this processor with Intel Core i7 or i9 Featuring eight cores up to four, the desktop processor 9700 has eight cores. How do I determine whether a 700 series 65W chip will work at 7 GHz? In terms of heat dissipation, how is it?

You will be able to use it. In reality, it has a TDP Max of 65watts, and therefore may support list for the dh370 can be found on the shuttle global website

pfSense Firewall can run in the background without causing any noise
5/5

To replace a home computer that was used to set up ASUS routers with pfSense, I purchased an XPC from Shuttle. From the moment the box was unpacked to the moment it was fully - it only took a few hours A network configuration has been made. In case you're thinking about doing this, there are a few things you should know Realtek Network Interface Cards DO NOT work well with pfSense. I have tested the dual Intel NICs of this Shuttle XPC DH370 with no problems. The Intel Core i3-based computer I chose was the fastest I could find It supports AES-based encryption thanks to its 8100 CPU Shuttle's heatsink and dual fans were designed specifically for this tiny case in order to achieve a comfortable 40C operating temperature. There is no sound coming from the machine while it is on, unless I pick it up and hold it up to my ear I can only hear the fans when the air is flowing. As the BIOS version I needed was already included with the shipped version I saved a bunch of time. It fits nicely on my side table with all my other LAN gear. There are no frustrating design issues when working with the case. As a result, the parts are machined to fit together comfortably, and all you need to remove are three screws to remove the SSD drive mount and case. Based on a custom-designed template As long as the screws for the CPU heatsink and fan assembly align with the mount points on the motherboard, the heatsink can be dropped in directly after application of thermal paste. Be sure to wipe down the contact surfaces with rubbing alcohol before you connect the SSD.

The board already has a built-in SSD power and data combined connector cable. In addition to SODIMM DDR4 laptop memory, I also loaded up 8 GB of Kingston HyperX (in a 4x4GB configuration) for pfSense as RAM disks and gave the remaining 2 GB to temp and var. I liked the software very much, but the box was too quiet, and it was too My selection is a WD Blue 250 GB SSD I like it, a lot bigger than I needed, but who cares. They are so cheap the Corsair GTX USB memory stick I used to install pfSense cost almost twice as much, but it confirmed that USB 3 is safe for Windows. port worked as expected (400 MB/sec were seen from the FreeBSD disk speed test notes when booted from the Corsair drive). The BIOS spins up the fans to full rotation and returns them to zero to test them when you turn on the whole machine for the first time with the heatsink and fans installed and the motherboard off. During that moment, you can quite easily hear the fans. You would probably not be able to operate one of these under constant load since it would not In spite of this, you CAN turn off the fans and use the machine as it Not a single moment of stress was spent- I haven't tested mine this way, so I can't comment on the temperature, however before assembling everything I "test bench" it and the bare CPU ran at 91 C. A SILENT bookshelf can be yours if you want it Even if you have a desktop-size setup and desktop horsepower, they won't prevent you from just using the heatsink and removing the fans. The passive cooling method will keep the temperature under 80C, which is exactly what you want. This has all worked out perfectly for me, and I am extremely pleased. I waited patiently for all the parts to arrive, and everything went smoothly once they arrived. Shuttle has always been a favorite of mine, and I continue to support it It was an AMD build that I built my last Shuttle This recording studio uses an XPC for its computer. The machine never stopped running even after more than a decade of continuous operation Presently, I am looking in my closet for it. The DH370 is definitely a great choice for somebody looking for a "heavy lifting" appliance in a small package or for building a pfSense firewall which is overkill. You might as well go nuts and set up massive firewall rule tables, enable web filtering, VLAN your neighbor's kids taking your WiFi to a VPN tunnel, and log every unwanted message you receive. This thing is amazing and I can't wait to find out what else it.

These are not difficult to build, and I've had very few problems with them
5/5

The relationship with the customer should be good. The Shuttle XPC Slim system I built today was the fourth I have built. It is also the first one I have encountered problems with. Using more than one SODIMM memory card caused the system to not work properly. I contacted Shuttle in California, and they replaced the unit without hesitation. The company has been a pleasure to deal with. Purchasing from them again is something I would do if the replacement unit worked perfectly.

Id is DH3110
4/5

The DH310 was a piece of hardware that I bought a few months ago and outfitted with an SSD and an i3-based processor A Linux Mint 19 system running on an 8100 processor would be ideal. There are two fans in the DH310, and for me they run at low speed and only seem to whirr slightly. Though I like the metal case, it is a bit old-fashioned. It is heavier than other mini-computers since it is made of metal A PC that does not move about on the desk is something I like. Sadly, the device has no internal speaker, which is a problem for basic functions. Additionally, it does not have WiFi If you want to use the Fi, you must purchase it separately. With a NVMe SSD, the boot time is still not lightning fast it takes about 10 seconds. In the instructions for installing the SSD, you are instructed to install the processor first, followed Instead, if you're using an NVMe drive, you'll have to install it first. It will be easier to access the processor if you take out the processor.

This is a great idea
5/5

What a wonderful idea. In the last two months, I have bought eight of them. Despite being so small, they can be plugged into the back of your monitor whenever you want. I have been using them for a couple of years (sometimes I have to use Velcro since there is no hole in the monitor for installation, but that works. ) I installed In less than a minute, it boots up. Speed is one of my favorite things about it. This is a great pair.

Wow! If you ask me, that's a good As you can see, it's the tiniest rail I was able to find a lab PC for use in the lab
5/5

Compared to last year, I paid only $200 on Amazon here when I paid $289 a year ago. I had to buy all of the inventory from various labs to not miss out on this deal. I thank Amazon for its great service!.

I have been running the original shuttle for over a decade, my second ferry just started running. I love the small footprint, ease of installation, and performance of this wireless router.

It's a great box for a home lab
5/5

It is an excellent choice for a home lab ESX setup thanks to its two NICs. There is not much noise here. There are two network interface cards, so this device does not take up too much space.
