The macro photos are incredibly sharp throughout the image, not just in the center. I was quite taken aback. This lens and a Pixel 2 were used to take the photo below. This white bug appeared to be nothing more than a speck of dust on the surface of a (yard-grown) pomegranate to the naked eye. EDIT: br>br> Amazon appears to aggressively reduce the size of user photos. The actual photograph is stunning and razor-sharp. I've also included a cropped version of the first photo so you can see how sharp and detailed the bug is.

This lens has awestruck me. I was looking into getting a lens that will take great pictures and angles, not that my phone doesn't already do that, but just as an added bonus. A Samsung S7 is the phone I use. I had to remove my phone case because it was too bulky. I haven't tried the wide angle lens yet, but I have tried the macro lens, and my eyes are completely smitten. I've read some reviews that claim these lenses produce a fisheye effect when taken with a cell phone, but this isn't true. I'll attach product photos as well as macro lens photos taken outside after the rain. I recommend playing with the lens by moving it around. It's simple to put on, remove, and reattach. I'm excited to put the wide angle lens to the test. This is something I would recommend to friends, family, and anyone else looking for something similar.

I tried everything I could think of to get this thing to work, but it just won't. There's no way to position it so that it doesn't capture the lens' edge (rounding the corner of the picture) when I clip it over my iPhone 7. Also, because the clip is too short to be used with a smart phone with the camera lens in the center, it will not work. You can only clip in one direction on the back of the phone (like my LG android phone). There were fewer corner-cutting opportunities. The LG phone has better rounding, but my iPhone has better photos - I bought this lens primarily for that reason. The wide-angle image is noticeably distorted in both cases, with a fish-eye effect. I did not want my eyes to look like this. I didn't test the macro lens any further because I wasn't interested in doing so. br>br>Amazon was kind enough to refund my money (apparently the vendor does not want the item returned to them) - So that was a good part.

To be honest, the wide lens made me laugh out loud. It gets about the same range as the phone's inbuilt ultrawide camera, but with more distortion, when mounted over the main camera of my phone. The scene is so zoomed out and distorted because it's fixed over the ultrawide camera that it just becomes a tiny bubble. If your phone doesn't have an ultrawide camera, or if you don't mind the distortion, I suppose it could be useful over the selfie camera. The macro lens, on the other hand, is fantastic, which is why I purchased this set in the first place. It allows you to get a lot closer to objects, and I've included some examples of what it can do with my miniature collection. Image quality is largely determined by the camera on your phone; the lenses are made of very clear glass, so they don't obstruct anything; all you have to do is find the right focusing distance. Although the clip is made of plastic, the lenses' frames are made of solid metal and are securely fastened. The carrying pouch is also a nice addition, though mine has a strong peppermint scent. What is the significance of peppermint oil? There are certainly worse odors to have, but why?.

I've captured some incredible micro images of monarch eggs, caterpillars, and butterflies. I literally walk around the backyard with it, playing with it as if it were a toy. I purchased it when my Moto phone only had a single rear camera that was simple to use. It also works on Samsung phones with three cameras; you just have to put it on the right little camera that's taking the picture. To take a photo, you must get close to the object, but it's thrilling when you get a good shot! The inside of a white flower was the last image I shared!.

This is a fantastic little deal for under ten dollars. With the macro lens, I'm having a lot of fun getting up close and personal with things. I also had a lot of fun creating my large-scale project. The dog's head appears to have grown even larger. The fisheye lens was used as a focal point. Possessing a macro lens is a life goal: achieved.

In the, I recently bought an iPhone. This is a fantastic little gadget. Our daughter is getting married in November, and I just bought an iPhone in the last six months. I needed something like this to take wide-angle and close-up/macro photos of my handmade jewelry so that I could start a website, and I am blown away by how well this lens performs! Totally worth the reasonable price tag! I cannot recommend this highly enough to anyone who owns a cell phone with a camera and is even remotely interested in photography!.

This lens was purchased to take more detailed pictures of coins that we sell online, and it does an excellent job of doing so. I only wish it came with instructions because the micro lens requires unscrewing the lenses (there are two). We only discovered this after a lot of trial and error. It appeared to be a fisheye effect otherwise.
